FECKING HELL!!
HAVING SEEN IT AGAIN FROM THE LAST ANGLE THAT LOOKS EVEN MORE LIKE A TERRIBLE CHALLENGE THAN AN ACCIDENT ONE, AS IT FIRST APPEARED TO ME.
I WONDER IF MATCH OF THE DAY WILL HAVE THE BALLS TO SHOW THAT ANGLE OR WHETHER, LIKE SKY, THEY REFRAIN FROM DOING SO?
I BELIEVE THEY SHOULD, SO THAT ALL THE NEUTRALS WHO COMPLAINED ABOUT WENGER'S POST MATCH COMMENTS, CAN SEE WHY HE WAS MAKING SUCH A FUSS.

Thank you Hlebby, I had not seen it from this angle either but was sure that it would prove either way conclusive as far as intent or show that Taylor was in fact unlucky to have caused such injury. One must really question why Sky chose not to publish this footage and who were they trying to protect and why?I Hate Hleb wrote:FECKING HELL!!![]()

Fucking hell, he really did just go for Eddie's leg. There was no attempt at getting the ball there. I've watched that four times, to make sure, but Taylor just went to take Eddie out, not with a trip but the foot coming down onto and through the shin. I'm not saying he literally intended to snap Eddie's leg but those clips do show a high level of violent intent.
I said earlier on a separate thread that I was sure the injury was the unintended consequence of rough-house tactics but it looks much more than that.
As a football fan, I really do hope the FA look at this with an eye on a very, very long ban. But as a lawyer, I do quite seriously think this should be considered for both criminal and civil court action.
