SHUT UP GOONERS

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I made that point last week but lets be honest yesterday was no ordinary match day and after all that happened tensions amongst us all ran high

However we have every reason to be concerned especially up front where we now have just ade & bedtner and rvp light years away from a return  I thought there was a lot of tension both in crowd and team last wed nite v milan after the mauling we received at mancland and you have to be concerned at the mental pressure all the recent events are having on our young players. As was said yesterday on sky we only have 1 player on our team that has been there and done it as regards winning the league with Jens & bert only squad players now. In my opinion there is a world of difference between a player having the experience of having played in over 100 league games and the experience you gain from being involved in a tightly contested league challenge and we do not have enough of the latter

So is the onus on the fans to lift the players now or is the onus on the team to lift the fans ? Will wenger have the balls to admit that he was wrong to drop jens(am i overstepping the mark by saying that  ) ? Will wenger now revert to a 5 man midfield and if so does that send a negative message to the players again ? Will the team be mentally strong enough and close enough as a unit now to pull together and go on a run to win the league both as a tribute to eduardo and also to stick 2 fingers up to all those *word censored* out there that dont want us to win ?

One thing is for certain I know I will be shouting them on each and every minute during the last few games of the season. I will be there again next saturday and bringing my 5 year old son for his 1st Arsenal match so a win would be much appreciated on two fronts :D :D :D

next saturday i want to see a HUGE reaction from the fans. now is the time the team need to feel the full force of our support. let's channel the frustrations of yesterday into letting the team know that we are behind them all the way and turn ashburton into a cauldron. i'll put something on the website towards the end of the week along these lines. i want the players to be genuinely surprised and uplifted by just how much noise an arsenal crowd can make. we are all arsenal fans and the events of yesterday should pull us all together. as dame maria in the red coat might put it -

COME ON YOU GUNNERS :!: :!: :!:  8)

THERE IS A TEAM CALLED THE ARSENAL,
THE GREATEST OF THEM ALL,
“There is a team called the Arsenal! The greatest of them all!
And we will always support you. Whether you rise or fall, or fall!
And we'll drink, drink together. In praise of the AFC!
And we’ll drink, drink, drink together. In praise of the AFC.
Fulham can stay at the Cottage. Southampton can stay at the Dell!
And as for Tottenham Hotspur! They can go to hell, to hell!
And we'll drink, drink together. In praise of the AFC!
And we’ll drink, drink, drink together. In praise of the AFCâ€

I wish it could be true Gooner Ed

But will still get the Fcuking late comers who cant make it early for a 3pm Kickoff!!!!!!.The fans who would rather stuff their faces than cheer on the boys. The fans who leave their seats 10mins before half time and get back 10 mins after half time
Now is the time for the club to do something about these so called fans.
If you cant get behind the team stay at home and give you ticket to a fan who will

When Toure comes back in we'll at least have 2 players who have been regulars in a title winning side. As for Jens and Gilberto even if not in the team they can still have a big effect on the lads that do take to the field. When Chelsea won their first title how many of their players had League winning experience?? Utd had far more experience that year but it didn't do them much good? It shouldn't be used as an excuse, it's just another reason for the media to tell us why we won't win the League and Utd will. F*ck off is what I say.

Hunger and desire will decide the League, not experience. The Utd squad have experience of throwing titles away, are boys don't!!

I couldn't agree more Gooner.ed. Now is the time to get behind the lads, not just for one game but from now until the end of the season. The players looked a bit shell shocked on Saturday and I'm sure a few of them are even wondering "What happens next?". We can answer that question for them on Saturday with our support; We pull together and become more determined than ever.

As a side note, I really wish Arsene would take a leaf out of George Grahams book and cut out all the newspaper articles from happless journalists and Man Utd players stating how we'll throw it away, how they have the phsycological advantage bla bla bla and stick them on th Changing Room wall. That should provide plenty of motivation.
