Shoddy shirts

Shoddy shirts

Post by Wayno »

I bought my seven year old twin boys (Charlie & George) new home shirts from the club shop just before xmas, also had their names and number printed on the back. The Emirates logo on the front of both shirts has already stared to peel off, has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know if the club will replace the shirts. I do not still have the receipt as I never expected to need to take them back.

Yes. I have had my shirt since September and the Fly Emirates is just starting to peel off. My friend talked to the manager at the shop and he said they are going to re-releasethe shirts in April.

Hopefully, they change the lettering to the 2001/02 Dreamcast style (The Fluffy type).

Still annoying that the shirts are such poor quality...

they will be worth alot then mate first season at emirates and last at highbury

and the first at emirates will involve a carlin cup final win w2iv a squad average age of 23 wiv about 15 million spent on it if not jus a bit more or jus a bit less beating a team of an average age of 26+ and wiv 1 player who had 30 mill spent on him then SwP whos tak was 20 odd million so thats around the 50 mill for jus 2....and then u got the last season at highbury worn in the CL final....i think they should take all shirts and replace em say between jus an eg 1st of march - 1st of april, ne1 ne later dont get to exchange, even if they charge us a tenner would still be worth doin...nect season they should change the material of the sponser

NIKE HOME SHIRT INFORMATION NOTICE

We are sorry to announce that a production issue has been identified with the application of the Emirates sponsor logo on some batches of the current Nike-produced Arsenal home shirts supplied to the club for in-store and online sales.

The high quality of the products and the value we deliver to fans is of the utmost importance to both Arsenal and to Nike. As it is difficult to identify which shirts are affected Nike has decided, with our agreement, to temporarily remove all existing stock of mens' and boys' home shirts from the Arsenal stores until the end of April. From 1st May we will have a new stock of shirts for sale free of this problem.

Nike and Arsenal regret any inconvenience this causes.

I received a reply back from the club shop Manager this morning advising me to email them a contact telephone number and the shirt size required. They have said that they will call to inform me when the new and improved stock of shirts arrive and I will then be able to exchange them.

I have to say I have been pleasantly suprised by just how quickly they responded and very happy that they have acted positively to my situation.

Well done Arsenal

I bought my shirt at the start of the season and have had no problems what so ever. Don't know what you are doing with them to make them fall apoart so easily. I don't iron my shirt just put it on a hanger and let any creases fall out, maybe this is the problem you are having.

Don't know for this seasons Man Ure shirts but the VodaFone shirts have been 'shoddy' when put in the washing machine - who cares about the mancs though...
