Matthew Norman: Eat your words (7/3)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

usual thread starter… Interesting to see new signing (and Brazilian international) right back Gilberto go to the Lane. Guess it just shows how awash the Prem is with money that he’d choose to go there. One thing he will have to get out of his head soon is the concept of playing football there. The Spuds way these days is to lump it forward. Do you think they have any chance in Eindhoven next week? (Wonder what Mr Norman predicts for that one    )

‘...such a failure is about as far fetched as the prospect of demoralised Arsenal overcoming AC Milan of Italy from the same disadvantage (0-0 in the home leg) as Olympiakos.â€

wendy seems to be good with 2 leggers
never wins first but then gets a draw at least from second

Eg
man utd lost in the cup then drew in the league
lost to us in the league drew first leg of the LC then beat us in the second
so i wouldnt be suprised if they get something, got a feeling it'll be 1-1
