Carling Cup final train fiasco (2nd March)

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

usual thread starter... although 'never again to cardiff i go' is a thread in 'general chat' that covers this territory amply. but continue here should you wish.

Train Fiasco

Post by lasagne »

I have to say that I concur with the sentiments of abject frustration and injustice. The whole day was tainted.

I do not mind problems occuring but I do resent being lied to and being treated like an insignificant scum bag.

It is high time that the train companies started to realise that we are the reason for, not the obstruction to, their jobs.

Over 2000 fans were late. I do not know why they could not delay kick-off by 10-15 minutes as a gesture at least. For goodness' sake, they do that in London if traffic is bad.

Cardiff. Thank you for the good time. Good riddance for the bad. I am grateful that we won't be back - a fate worse than the Intertoto cup.
