Wenger could walk if board fail to back him against FA (6/3)
usual thread starter... i don't think arsene would ever walk, but i can imagine him being so p*ssed off with the authorities in this country that he might not sign a new contract. at the mo, i think he's only here til summer next year. could be the last campaign of AW football next season. i'm all if favour of humiliating the FA's intransigent backing of incompetent officiating in a court of law myself

I agree that we must support Arsene, who seems a bit of a loner at times - even when things are going well. My reaction to last week's accusations and counter claims was to email Arsene and offer my support - in court, on oath if necessay - as a witness to Lampard doing his palpitations/heart thumping display that he had escaped without punishment from the melee. I did get a response email from AW's secretary but nothing else.
Maybe if more of us mailed our feelings he would get the message that there are a lot of fans who can support his views in a practical way and we're not just a bunch of expendable 'customers'; unlike so many, no doubt, of the corporate hangers-on with whom he may have more contact?
But first, there's the little matter tonight of the PSV bus...
