I can’t be arsed to read the fevered ramblings of the press any more, but if the form book’s anything to go by, they’ll now be casting around for a suitable scapegoat for last night’s England defeat.
Capello? Not been in the job long enough.
The players? No. How could our precious David, Wayne, Rio and Stevie possibly be at fault?
How about Arsenal? I think the argument goes something like, “Yeah they’ve got loads of foreign players. Lets blame them.â€
Anyone pointing the finger at us yet?

but we didn't thrash a rubbish France side 5-0
I do question one thing Capello did and that is withdraw both Joe Cole and Gerrard while leaving both Barry and Hargrevees at half time when 1-0 down. Overall, these games are for him to implement his passing over long ball and system on the players, France was always going to be difficult without that

It's all Arsenal's fault. Everyone knows that. They're just a foreign Club playing in London. It's obvious to anyone who knows anything about football that this bunch of foreign journeymen are just holding back all the great English talent. Let's use David Bentley as an example - if he hadn't left Arsenal he wouldn't have played at the San Siro and set up a goal against AC Milan in a European Cup game. To be honest, Arsenal Football Club are just an absolute disgrace for the way they hold back all these great young English gentlemen.
