Lehmann Nostalgia

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Lehmann Nostalgia

Post by RaM »

Watching Lehmann play this morning I was reminded of what everyone has been missing so far this season - his character. Ok, character won't win us games, but its certainly good to watch!

Besides, I thought Lehmann had a good game last night, nothing he could have done about either goal.

Last nights bit of 'Lehmannia' consisted of:

- Fixing the ball for Ronaldo to make sure it was definitely on the penalty spot.

- Words to Rooney etc. when up close.

- And of course which Lehmann game would be complete without a yellow card for our mad german!

I hope it wasn't his last game for us.....

And here are some reminders for us all:

Good old Mad Jens. I cant get enough of the man, he's quality. He's like the mournho of goalkeepers. Everyone hates him exept for us. Brillient.

The magic and the madness indeed....his antics do get us into unessercary bother but you can look back and laugh!...will love him for the save in the semi and what about that save against Raul in the Last 16 at Highbury against Madrid.
