From monday the 26th of march Arsenal legend Ian Wright is on talksports drive time team, so finally we might have some1 sticking up for the arsenal.....ian wrighty wright wright

Ian Wright still talks glowingly about The Arsenal and still loves the club. Yes SWP went to Chel$ki but i think by that time Arsenal had pulled out 'cos of the transfer fee.

More importantly, I think Ian Wright would be the first black presenter on Talk Sport. I dont know how many of you realise - but Talk Sport is a little right of centre politically to say the least (well the sport segment is anyway).

Anything foreign sounding seems to get ridiculed. Im not saying Ian Wright would make a difference but just an observation that he would be the first black presenter that I can think of on that station.

N13 gooner is right about talksport and the politics. I used to listen to it but got so tired of hearing the same old right wing stuff that I dont bother anymore. Its like The Sun on radio.

To be fair the breakfast show, where someone called Beacroft was so bad he made even made former spurs man Brazil sound reasonable, was why I switched it off. The late afternoon show was ok.

Talksport were generally lazy ie just sticking to the old myths such as north east fans are amazing so if their grounds are empty its down to the prices. Arsenal fans fill their grounds but they are quiet because highbury rhymes with library etc etc

Now Wrighty is on, I will listen again. I know he was SWP s agent but there was a lot of money to turn down and he naievely believed Kenyon/Mourinho. The real reason they wanted him was to stop us getting him.

Wrighty was the only football reason to look forward to going highbury for a few years - the mans a living legend

Wrighty will be brilliant its the other presenters who are shit. Its like listening to Radio Merseyside. I gave up listening in 2004 when one of the presenters said the 2003/4 season had been a bad season for Arsenal because we failed to win the Champions league even though we went the whole season unbeaten.I think it was that ARSEHOLE Adrian Durham

listened to wrighty on radio talk garbage and the mans a knob.
he now likes the spuds & man ure. wot a capitol dick this man is. he opens his mouth and nothing but sh*te comes out. wot realy did it for me was when he said he thought plilistine (chuckle brother 2 ) neville was a class player and he also admires fergus the terrible. pr*ck,pr*ck, pr*ck.
everytime wrighty opens his gob he sounds like an a*sehole.
the pr*ck can't have a brain or he would have listened to himself gabbling on and given in his notice.

Show some fucking respect mate. If you disagree with some points fair enough but your rant is totally over the top. Wrighty will always be a legend.

Also, he stated on his MySpace page that he "old SWP to join Arsenal, but "you know what kids are like, they never do what they are told"!

wrighty is a self publicing prick. he doesn't give a damn for the gunners or anyone other than himself.
he may have been a good servant to the ARSENAL, but he always put his own publicity first.
