Assuming bert goes he will have 1 player left in the squad that won the league just 4 seasons ago and 1 maybe 2 more that played in that "epic" cup final 2005 v the yanks

If he wants them to play like winners then he needs to buy more winners cos players like hleb for all their gifted potential (

Exactly, silverware shows you are winners, nothing else. If there is going to be a mass exodus, then I think we can forget silverware next season as well.

Maybe if half the squad leaves the Board will finally get the message and start spending. What is their problem? Do they really imagine that fans will keep coming and fill the Emirates when there is little prospect of silverware?

Ken Friar has a busy summer ahead of him, we will have to show that we can start winning stuff even if just one minor cup. Hopefully we can keep the squad together and make vital additions to the team

I think he has to be regretful too about the winter transfer window!

It was obvious then that we had long tern injuries that would hamper our chandes and this was before losing Eduardo also!

I think that you will find that it is easier for wenger to blame bad refereeing and injuries rather than any mistakes on his or the clubs behalf

.

His actions in the summer will tell us a lot as regards his diagnosis of where it went wrong over the last few months

The next few weeks/months will tell us a hell of a lot!

There is some funds there to spend and this can be increased by selling players that add little or nothing to the squad depth for example Hoyte and Gilbert.

We not only need proven winners but also players in say a Luzhny mould that when required can step in with ease as they have been there and done that!
