judging by the fact there is not another post on here that most arsenal fans think this is complete and utter rubbish.

they seriously cant think that he could be a replacement for adebayor surely

I think it's more we're trying to ignore it and hope it never happens, hear no evil see no evil kind of thing.

Though this wouldnt surprise me if we were tracking him, going for the cheap option again...

Maybe this was the big name signing with premiership experience Wenger was talking about that we were signing 2 weeks ago

Yes he bloody well is !! He is nowhere near good enough to play for Arsenal and it would see us regress 20 years to have him as our main striker

Are we talking about the same Crouch who destroyed us with a hatrick season before last? Scored against us this year at home costing 2 vital title points? Generally ran our defence ragged in the CL Semi winning possibly every header?

Now while I agree and don't think he would be a good signing for us I think it's harsh to write him off as being shit. His performances against us paint a very different picture. He is a competent player with a very useful playing style. It just doesn't fit into our playing style is all.

i think crouch is a decent player who just isnt given a chance at liverpool.

he would give us something extra, is good with his feet, etc

abit slow but u cant have everythng. everyone of our player has decent pace so he doesnt need to have it. he could be the somethng extra we need, a goal here and there from a long ball can make a big difference.

We were only 3-4 goals short this season from winning the premiership.

Lets be fair lads our centre halves are absolute shite in the air and most of the time we would be better with 2 midgets playing there

You cannot use games against us as a reason for buying him or else we would also be in the market for that jock fletcher who bagged 2 against us in mancland's cup game last season and we all know that he is shit
