Who will get sacked first?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Who will get sacked first?

Post by shimmy21 »

Wenger
Fergerson
Scolari
Benitez
Moyes
O'Neill
Ince
Megson
Hodgson
Brown
Hughes
Southgate
Keegan
Keane
Redknapp
Ramos
Pulis
Mowbray
Curbishley
Bruce

I say Benitez is high on the agenda, southgate, and ince.

Brown, Phillip. See Davies, William versus Pearson, Adam and Derby County Football Club, 2006. :blah:

Eh? Ince? Cherry picked above some more established names? He will not be gotten rid of so quickly. Benitez? He would have been sacked last year if he was ever gonna go. Southgate? Yes, gotta be a top contender along with Curbishley for me.

From the bigger clubs

Keegan
Scolari
*Ramos

Scolari is CL or Bust.

Newcastle are due a new manager.

Spuds are overhauling their team, they could go realy well, or they could flop big time.

it is hard to tell from the smaller ones because as soon as they look doomed the normaly oust the manager.

But I would go for Ince, because he has always seemed big on passion but a bit dim.

* denotes clubs that are not actualy big, but spend big money.

If I was a betting man I would wager a few bob on curbishley to be 1st out the door with other contenders including hodgson and keegan. I think if the yanks in scouseland had balls they would have sacked benitez by now cos they are no nearer to winning the league than when houllier was there but the yanks are afraid of the kop faithful

I have to say I wouldnt rule out the possibility of wenger or ferguscum resigning this season though - if the selling club quotes from wenger lately are anything to go by you would wonder if he is beginning to be pissed off working with 1 hand behind his back

I don't think so. AW is a smart man with a degree in Economics. He would have known the clubs position financially for a long time before now. So unless he has been waiting for DD and Usmanov to come riding in with cash loads of potential he has opted to stay and operate under his current restraintes. He'll be here for a while yet I'm sure.

Keane has yet to agree an extension to his contract, but I think Pulis will be gone by October
