Kaka for Ade

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Kaka for Ade

Post by Chippy »

Just read this on F365.
The taxi firm I work for has an account with Arsenal driving the youth players to and from Arsenal's training ground. I have just dropped two of the lads up there and the place is buzzing. Milan have agreed a straight swap of Kaka for Adebayor. Kaka's agents were already at the training ground and apparently Kaka is having a medical tomorrow."
Took me a few minutes to pick myself up off the floor from laughing. IHH's dealer has obviously got some seriously good shit. :duh:

It would be great if this were true not just for the club but we'd probably hear Augie's head explode from here. :coffeespit:

NB I don't think this counts as an Ade thread, more a silly joke thread started by a tit.

No chance now that they have just signed Ronnie from Barca.

Must say i wondered how Milan are going to play Ronaldinho and Kaka in the same team but cant ever see Kaka coming to us let alone in a straight swap with Ade

Are you referring to yourself there chippy mate

I rate kaka is the best player in the world but I actually wouldnt be that bothered about signing him to be honest. If we signed him would we have a ballack/lumpolard scenario where himself and cesc are getting in each others way ? Make no mistake he is a class class player though but is a big name and we will never ever see wenger signing a big name

I have said before I would like to see the club sigh a big name though just to bring a bit of positivity back to the fans, the players and the club in general but that signing should be made with a team pattern in mind and not just for the sake of a big name signing 8)

F*ck me Augie, you still manage to be negative about the thought of swapping Ade for Kaka even if it is in fantasy land. :banghead:   Do your kids get Xmas presents or do you tell them its just an ordinary day cos we haven't the budget or ambition to have a good Xmas. :augie: :gettowork:

Not being negative in the slightest chippy. My point is that I believe that we have cesc who can do most of what kaka can bring to the table anyway unless we play kaka off the front man a la DB10. I actually thought my post brought a sense of realism to the people on this forum who sometimes seem to think I yearn for the club to make a big signing just for the sake of it  Guess you cant please everybody 8)
