Queen related song for Fulham Game

Post by Goonanana »

I'd think its got to be a twist on the National Anthem

I'd like to see

God save our Gooner Queen,
Long live the Arsenal dream, **
God save the Queen!
Send us victorious,
Happy and Glorious,
Long to reign over Spuds;
God save the Queen!

** Not sure about this line

I think we need to keep it simple if we have any chance of people joining in, so to the tune of kolo toure chant

do do do do the queens a gooner, do do do do ..................

Couple of seasons back when we played chelsea at cardiff, was in one of teh pubs across from the castle and teh late pope came on screen, do do do the popes a gooner went down well, quickly picked up by everone

I think he was actualy a goone,r can anyone confirm ?

One kneels is a stroke of genius! not sure if people would be able to hear the difference though - one for the rocket to test methinks! Any confirmation that its open on Sun?

I know this might be a little late in the day with the season coming to an end, but how about this, to the tune of the 'Robin Van Persie' chant:

"ROYAL APPROVAL" *clap clap, clap-clap clap*

Would have loved to give it a try at pompey, but sadly other commitments are taking precident this weekend. Would be great if someone gave it a go!

The Rocket was "hired out" for the weekend matches in advance by the Red Action guys (Blackburn FA Cup match was too late to arrange). They are hoping to extend this next season to the evening matches but that depends on those in charge at the Uni complex.
