Does anyone know what membership level Junior Gunners are entitled to once they reach 16 and are no loner eligible for JG Membership?

wayno - believe they are automatically offered cannon club membership which lasts until they are 18, then they become silver members. JGs already enjoy the privileges of silver membership (can buy tickets at full price in the ground once family enclosure sold out) - which is the club's way of addressing the average age of supporters (45 for Premiership matches across the country), by giving the younger ones a leg up. Unfortunate for red members, but there you go. think tickets for cannon club members in the family enclosure might be £1 more expensive than for JGs

And have you seen that the new Junior Gunner pack is full of bath smellies, wash mit, washbag etc. Do they think our young supporters need a good wash?!

I know this wasn't the question but......When we were at Highbury adults were often better off using a JG Membership than Red! As soon as the Family Enclosure sold out you had a head start on buying full priced tickets elsewhere in the ground. Not so good now as same thing applies except I'm sure stewards would notice if you used JG membership card as turnstile machine shows different colour! If there is no waiting list for Cannon Club then some Red members may be wise to invest in this for a season and then upgrade to Silver - just make sure you put down a suitable age! I agree that we need more youngsters, but it used to hack me off that my kids walked in to a higher level of membership last season than me!!! Also - I noticed that my kids tickets for Carling Cup Final didn't mention that they were concession.... So it may even be a cheap way to buy tickets for away games!! We'll be going to more next season - esp if Derby come up as well as Brum - so I'll let you know if this is the norm.

i believe it is impossible to become a cannon club member unless you are promoted from the JGs. So if you are going to join as an under 16 you can become a JG and then work your way through the ranks. wonder if there will be a glut of 15-y-o new JGs this summer
still, once you reach 18, there's nothing on the card to say whether you are 18 or 80. mind you, if as a JG your name came out of the hat to be a mascot, it could be amusing to see someone older than the players run out with the team

If one of my kids names were pulled out of the hat do you really think I'd let them run onto the pitch? F*ck that!! I'd say I had one of those horrible diseases that makes 7 year olds look 70 & they can stay in the family enclosure and look & learn. I'd hold Gilberto's hand & score a cracker past the nutter!! Shit, its even possible the boss might like my moves and then who knows.....its not too late!!! With the chances we create I bet I'd score more than Aliadiere.....
