Hostels

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Had to stay in London hotels for about 10 days a couple of years ago and found the cheapest way to do it is via lastminute.com. We found that it was far cheaper to go into an internet cafe and book it than walk into the hotel itself, so much so that when we wanted to extend our stay in one hotel in Piccadilly, they blocked lastminute.com on their internet computer in the lobby, we just went round the corner and booked and moved rooms!

Google a place called Generator. It's really central and cheap and a decent hostel. Loads of my mates have stayed there and all recommend it.

Always found the Hotels on the Seven Sisters a bit grubby and local nightlife was crap. So now just stay in Luton but might check out that Generator Hostel, looks good and reasonable.

Thanks for the steer Rilo:D

If you book early enough you can get Travelodge rooms for £19 and should have little trouble getting one for £29.
