As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Favourite home shirt

Post by Sutch »

Seeing this season's home shirt, just wondered which is your favourite Arsenal home shirt since 2002.

For me it would be the 06-08 home shirt, lovely shirt.

I know it contravenes the terms of the poll, but my answer is, and always will be, 70s home shirt 8)

Ditto. 1970's home is class. WHITE SLEEVES. 8)

I've liked a few of our recent homers but the current one is a disgrace. It is Charlton. Nothing else. Charlton.  I'm actually boycotting all NIKE products because of it. Wrote the crunts and told them why but got no reply yet. Won't hold the breath so...

Let us know what they say, while I dont mind the new shirt its certainly not an Arsenal shirt, will be interesting if the club and Nike play the blame game (I think its the club that chooses from a selection of designs isn't it?)

really as if i need to , but you can see the old ones here.

i don't think the poll covers enough seasons. I agree the 70's shirt is a classic.

The 70's shirt is good but my faves are the adidas of the late 80's, see website above

Yeah they offer 4 or 5 to the club and the board make the final choice.

BTW; I agree it is an attractive enough jersey in it's own right (nice red, good design) but (as you say) IT IS NOT ARSENAL. If they had just made the bloody sleeves full white it would have been a classic IMHO...
