Early Leavers on Sunday
Early Leavers on Sunday
Sunday"s game is the final game of our first season at Ashburton Grove. It is traditional that after the final whistle the players do a lap of honour to thank the fans for their support. I know it hasn"t been our greatest season ever but we have qualified once again for the CL(Much easier than last season) wouldn"t it great if everyone could stay till the end for once this season. How depressing would it be for the players if there were huge gaps of empty seats as the players walked around.Come on early leavers its only another 10 or 15 mins.

No excuses to stay to the end, bank holiday next day.Plus 58000 gooners to give cashley stick to the end & to show him what it like to play in front of a big crowd at home.I t would also be nice if the corperates come out for the second half straight away instead of sometimes 5 mins after the second half as started .Lets makes as much noise through the game and make it a great day.The futures read and white

Yeah everyone better stay till the end. We'll all know who the new breed are on Sunday because they'll all be gone before the lap of honour, as they don't even know the tradition of having one at the last game.
Hopefully the stadium will be mainly full at the end, so we can congratulate the team on ending Chavski's reign as champions!
"You're not champions anymore . . ."

For those who want to watch Arsenal yet get home half an hour after the final whistle - might I suggest your local pub.
Sadly they're not a new phenomenon either against Sheffield Wednesday in 1992 they were many walking out on a drab 1-1 with 20 mins to go, the final result being 7-1. I'd have loved to see their faces when looking up the final result once they got home.

Anyone else remember the PA announcer at half time informing Arsenal fans of how to buy tickets for the game against Leeds that was to be shown live on ITV and remarking that "Wednesday fans will know all about playing Leeds on the telly", referring to their 6-1 demolition at the hands of Leeds. A spooky coincidence that.
Both results were also out of the blue as Wednesday were 3rd that year with the England goalkeeper between the sticks
