Why is this gonna make Wenger get his finger out ? He is the one that decides that the bloke goes on loan. he wouldnt let him go unless he thought could do without him.

Amazing how he has the time to offload players but never the time to buy them!

If it is true then good luck to him.

The truth is you was never really good enough and it was an insult to TA6 for Senderos to be called the next Tony Adams.

hopefully mate. defence is our problem and we have sagna, clichy, silvestre, gallas, toure, djourou, song. i dont think that is enough defenders if big phil has gone on loan to compete in 4 competitions

To make signings. You cant let hoyte, hleb, gilberto, lehmann, flamoney, big phil if true leave and then only buy ramsey, vela, nasri, silvestre. As calo said we do need a squad. It isnt the fact of letting big phil go, its having the numbers. This season IMO we have tp try and not play our first 11 players in fa cup and carling cup. they get tired and get injuries.

If this turns out to be true then it's little short of madness. We are literally running out of players.

The centre of our defence is our number one weak spot as Saturday showed. Nordtveit has already gone to Spain. So he's obviously not remotely Prem calibre.

If Wenger is going to bring in a midfielder and a defender before next week - then fine.

But if he's only going to do one - or neither, then this is shaping up to be our nastiest season in 20 years. :banghead: :?

We are short in terms of quality but not in numbers!

Gallas, Toure, Djourou, Silvestre and Song is more than adequate and I am sorry but The Big Cheese done anything but bring quality to the defence.

He was a liability waiting to happen virtually every match!

i agree with you rob. the number of defenders we have got at the club is not enough to compete in all competions. we will end up playing sagna, clichy, gallas, toure in cup competitions getting injured then come the league we will have a makeshift back 4. i thought silvestre was a replacement for hoyte.

we are short in quality and numbers. So you think we have enough defenders at the club at the moment minus big phil to play 60 games with? in 4 competitions. not a chance.
