As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Look at you being all mod like By the way Chippy usually titles the thread with the word 'Official' at the start, please do it correctly or not at all numbnuts

Wayno, kindly desist from calling Reb numbnuts, like that.
Fuck me reb. We have gone from the ridiculous to the sublime and now have a thread 4 DAYS before the game. However as Wayno said, its not official unless it says so.
Any way about Saturday, I hope he plays that team that played so well on Tuesday and not the bunch of wankers who played last Saturday. Err.....

Was talking to CIG about this last night, fingers crossed that attitude (if thats what we're to believe was the cause of last Sat) doesn't come back after a decent performace in a bigger game.
Arsène Wenger could have Alex Song back in his squad for Saturday's trip to Sunderland.
The Cameroon international suffered a hip injury during the Carling Cup victory over Sheffield United last month and suffered a relapse after making the bench against Hull last weekend. Song may return to action at the Stadium of Light but Abou Diaby (thigh) will not play until after the international break.
"We have no new injuries and we might have Song back in the squad for Sunderland," revealed Wenger at his pre-match press conference. "Diaby is very close now. He is two weeks or one week away. I think after the international break Diaby is ready to play."
Rain permitting....I'll be wearing my home shirt, with my yellow "Help the Hospices" race bib on top. I've just finished writing on it "MICK THE GOONER" so hope that will generate some friendly banter with the Geordies and Mackems in the Great North Run on the Sunday.
If you see me at the match then please come over and say hello !
Test of character just before the break, Sunderland gave us two very very difficult games last year. They won't fold as Porto did, they will happily exploit our weaknesses and they won't give our midfield much room. After the Fulham and Hull defeats, we have to win this, in part to show we can win games when it gets difficult.
