Does anyone remember seeing Charlie George getting his collar felt up at WBA? He was supposed to have been with the reserves but he came to West Brom instead!

To be brutally honest, it was very difficult to Not get arrested for threatening behaviour if you travelled away a lot during the 70's! Especially in the west midlands! Have very bad memories of wolverhapton and Wednesfield police station in particular!!

I think a lot of things conspired against us. They learned from the thrashing we gave them a couple of weeks ago and AW did what he said he would do, namely rotating because there is still an awful long way and a lot of games to go. it ain't over yet!

Jeff Blockley! Never liked him! I was at leicester, the first time we played them after we got rid. I got thrown out for saying rude words to him!
As for the Raphael Meade comment (rapist!) His brother, victor, took the rap for him!

How did Anderson get away with waving an imaginary yellow card at that knob of a ref? I thought it was supposed to be an automatic yellow for that? And I'm pretty sure there is nothing "gentlemanly" about hitting the floor and waving your arms at the ref!!! Particularly if no-one actually touches ...

I remember the outcry when we signed Charlie Nicholas. He wasn't even the first foreigner! Was there one before Ian Ure? At the end of the day, and to quote several people, I support the team. I supported them before they signed the first frenchman and willl still be supporting them when the last ...

I have no idea what Rugby is about. I follow the ball around the screen like a cat and jump up and down when the crowd are shown going mental! I know we won, but how or why...??? My son is captain of his school rugby team and I have no idea what he is doing (he is a prop..or something..He lets me ...

One memory of Johnny Hoy, was after a pre season friendly against Rangers. The Northbank was full of drunk jocks. He stood at the bottom of the stairs down from the 'bank and fronted them with just half a dozen blokes. The jocks went out the other side! Must have been 68 or somewhere around that ...

What I remember most about Denton, was the fact that you always knew when he was there. Especially at away games. You knew he was there because the other mob were practising the ancient martial art of "run like f**k"!! The mixed emotions about the guy probably stem from peoples different attitudes ...

By the way, Charlie George is a patient at the Docs surgery, where my mother in law works. She used to live a couple of doors away from his mum, just off the Cally road, when he first played for us. She got chatting to him and managed to finally get me his autograph! After all these years! My eleven ...

I can hardly remember being thirty! I hit the big half century on the 15th! I hope that parcel force aren't part of the strike, so that all my huge, expensive presents arrive OK!! I also remember most of the 70's. I started going to Highbury when I was nine, just a couple of games here and there. I ...
