Gooner podcast

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Yes, it was disappointing. I still can't believe that they allow AKBs on there. It was a shame that Oudot was too ill to be on. I think he would have laughed that bloke out of the room.

On Footballistically Arsenal, the unbearable Josh's continuing defence of TOF is just as fervent and fanatical as ever. He really is stuck up TOF's arse. Even Boyd is practically calling him a nutter for continuing his standing by this fraud after yet another shit season.

The Tuesday Club finally deigned to put out another podcast for the peasants after about five years  Although it seems that AKB central's 'spiwit' has been shattered, calling it the 'end of season' podcast. That arse, Davies still won't actually say the words though. He's been disappointed in the situation at the club for years, but still won't call for TOF's head. That Damian arsehole needs fucking sectioning. How the fuck can a man in his late forties can be that naive and blind to the reality of TOF's endless fuck-ups in the Cashburton era? It's a shame that Keith wasn't on, he has always been the closest to turning. 'Company Man' Ian avoided it altogether in the classic case of not wanting to piss off his paymasters at Arsenal by telling it like it is.

I feel sorry for Josh on the podcast cos he's flailing around, trying to divert attention away from Wenger.

Ian Stone's gone the same way as arseblog.

One thing that I think is pretty important is to listen to the message and the argument behind it. If someone is being very calm and measured, it does not automatically mean they have anything of note to say.

I remember Josh almost shouting down Alex Fynn on his last appearance for exposing The Old Fraud's character flaws. He'd have been very useful during Stalin's time for suppressing dissent  Sadly, Josh seems to be a permanent fixture as he also produces the pod; plus he's fellow window-licker Ben Winston's cousin.

They were right all along with the Company Man jibes. Ian is probably the biggest coward of the lot, because he must know how fucked the situation is, whereas pricks like Damian (and Josh) are still true believers despite our losing the title to Leicester and the seven seasons of wilfully underachieving shite before that.

Josh wasn't any more annoying than usual. I was expecting a meltdown or something. I see that he is another Giroud-cocksucker though.

Boyd says it like it is, even if he does have a total blind spot with Walcott and won't self-identify as a WOB, even though he's been pointing out TOF's flaws and strange habits for years. It is amusing whenever he tries to psychologically analyse TOF and has no choice to conclude that he's a stubborn old bastard.

I am starting to detect some underlying hostility between Boyd and Josh though. Will it be the second coming of Dan 'Willoughby' Baldwin vs. Ben Winston 'Churchill'?

You mean the point when Josh made another desperate comment to try and back up his increasingly weak position and Boyd told him to "fuck off"?

Oh, that was good. Though I seen it as a bit more 'matey' and dismissive.

Josh's AKB-ness is fucking ridiculous though and Boyd clearly sees that now

Did you hear the latest Footballistically podcast?

Boyd went right after Josh and the other AKB, Will Sparks. He couldn't believe that they are still AKBs in light of yet another disappointing season. Good listen :barscarf:

The latest Footballistically podcast was good. Tim Payton and his RA counterpart guesting. There was thankfully no AKB Josh to ruin things. Payton claimed TOF won't be offered a new contract, which now seems to be bullshit, unfortunately.

Looking forward to the next Gooner podcast. Hope we don't have to wait too long for it (and no AKB guests natch).

I am looking forward to the next Gooner Podcast :barscarf: I hope to hear Whitcher and Oudot's thoughts on this clusterfuck summer

The first couple of Footballistically Arsenal podcasts were good. The pre-season one had ex-player Lauren and a live audience. Even Lauren had to admit that we need better, more charismatic players to inspire the other players on the pitch. Tom Rosenthal was very sarcastic on our chances, lamenting our Groundhog Seasons.

The second one was pretty good, with AKB Josh being ganged up on. Alan Alger continues to savage TOF, despite shying away from considering himself a WOB and lambasting the Wenger Thread on here. As I had expected, he rips apart our crap youth team and the defeat to Borehamwood pre-season. I'm sure that Josh will want more AKB guests on in future.

I suppose the Tuesday Club podcast has finished. I guess the AKB took their ball home and gave up. Davies' heart hasn't been in it since the Van Persie sale. Probably for the best. The output and humour collapsed after their first 18 months from their breakaway from It's Up For Grabs Now. They hardly bothered last season and like to mug off their listeners.
