Amsterdam Tournament
Amsterdam Tournament
Was it me or did I see an advert on sky sports saying Arsenal were playing in this tournament again this year, sure I did but I cant see how they'll fit it in and no official word from the club.

I don't think so. According to the arsenal site, we have away games to Barnet and Stuttgart, home games against Juventus and Real Madrid in the Emirates Cup, and then away to Huddersfield. No mention of the Amsterdam tournament.SPUDMASHER wrote:Will they still be off to Austria as well
I always felt that going to Austria kept out players away from the media which helped solidify the team. It's a shame Wenger isn't dragging them off to some where else just as secluded.
I went to the Amsterdam Tournament 2 years running in 2004 & 2005 - I think
Great place and good atmosphere but the Ajax fans can be a bit violent particularly at the Stadium terminal.
Still - that apart - a GREAT PLACE !
Rijksmuseum was excellent. Red light district was all 'see' and no 'do'.
One of these 'ladies' in the window looked like Tutenkamen's grandmother - brandishing a whip
Even most of the posters on here would have passed by on the other side.
I certainly did
