All of this is pure speculation as Armchair said and i'd love someone with some insider knowledge to open up but if nothing else Arsenal PLC is very very good at keeping its dirty laundry hidden and that is unusual in modern football
I like the story of how Usmanov & Abramovich have been competitors for years and Usmanov would do whatever it took to make Arsenal more successful than Chelsea.

Only we've missed the boat with the financial doping, so he can't throw money at us like Abramovich did with CFC.

USM holdings (Usmanov's founding company) have the naming rights for evertons training ground at Finch Farm. Its the first deal of its kind in the |UK. Reported in The Guardian on 5th January 2017. This is separate to Moshiri. It is anticipated that if Usmanov fails in his bid to buy Arsenal, he'll plough money into Everton.

Do we really need someone to do that? Back in the day it was probably necessary but now there is so much money in football is it still required, especially at Arsenal who are very cash rich anyway?
Absolutely right Nick. We don't need a sugar daddy to pump in his personal fortune.
We need an owner who isn't hellbent on stockpiling as much cash as possible, and a manager who isn't going to either refuse to spend it or piss it up the wall on players like Elneny, Xhaka, Mustafi and Perez.

Just because he shares are not for sale, doesn't mean he wouldn't sell if the right offer came in.
