The January "He Looks Quite Good" Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

We can safely say that bellerin heading back to the whores.

Why else would he be getting an extended break
Cos he played into the latter stages (final) of the u21 tournament and deserves a break ?
Chambers & Holding going to the whores too ?
Untwist your knickers there dude
Methinks it's your girdle that is a bit tight - nobody likes to be shown to be wrong do they ?

Looks like Ox is starting to act like a diva too. Fuck me is it only half a decent season before you decide that £100k a week is not good enough. Twat.

I actually think i've seen enough of the ox at right wingback to believe he could be a revelation in that position. He seems made for the role!

Sadly, i dont trust wenger to consistently pick him ahead of bellerin and i doubt we can convince him that wing back IS his position instead of CM.

Oh well. Shame.

Not for me I'm afraid, I would prefer someone more defensively minded.

I'm not sure how much you can read into our change of formation as we were out of the league by then and most of the teams we faced were comfortable. Time will tell next season.

Yeah I'm not 100% convinced about the formation change. It certainly worked at the tail end of the season but, as many have pointed out, most of the teams we played at that point were psychologically already on the beach with the wife and kids. How well would that formation have worked if he'd utilised it last September? :|

We'll find out this September.

Ox is a good player and we'd be silly to let him go.

I fail to see the part where I've been proven wrong and some people have no problem being proven wrong at all.

I think your high heels are a little too tall there. you need to come down a few inches

You stated he is off to Barca, cos he's not in the tour party and asked why else.

The FACT is he played in the under 21 championship, as did Chambers and Holding, so was given (rightly ) a rest from playing to recharge.

You were either unaware of the above or just assumed Bellerin was left out and jumped to the conclusion of him being sold.

My high heels are fine, and it's only at weekends that they get an airing.

He'll be sold to Man City on August 30th for £70m perhaps less if a City player is thrown our way. It'll be the 2017 version of Cole and Gallas.
