All the usual Wenger PR bullshyte:

Manager Arsene Wenger thinks Arsenal can convince 28-year-old Chile forward Alexis Sanchez, who has one year left on his contract, to stay. (Mirror)

What!? Like he convinced Van Judas. :?

Or, Wenger will turn to Celtic forward Moussa Dembele, 20, if Sanchez leaves. (Star)

Wenger has given up on a world record move for Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe, 18, and is instead solely focused on signing the Ligue 1 club's 21-year-old winger Thomas Lemar, 21. (Telegraph) :banghead: Wenger is a LIAR

Lemar has demanded Monaco sell him to Arsenal. (Sun) Yeah sure.....

The wenger PR machine is in over-drive with the likes of his sycophantic luvvies Cwossy in the Mirropr and on the radio acting as a mouth-piece.

Get Lemar

Sell walnut and giroud

Swap Sanchez for aguero

Not the worst transfer window if all above happens

Shame on the scum at the club for this continuing smear job on Sanchez; it seems inevitable that he will go to Citeh, sadly. If so, we should at least get Aguero plus cash. He may be injury prone - He'll fit right in then  - but he's lethal on his day. Probably the best striker in the league - along with maybe Costa and Kane - since Suarez left The Victims.

Not that it matters with TOF in the dugout, of course. Especially if Project Giroud continues for a sixth season; Laca can fuck off to the wings

Sanchez is a *word censored*. I said this long before the summer transfer window started. He is a modern day footballer that has no affinity with the fans of the club that are making him rich beyond his wildest dreams.

The only way Arsenal can come out of this with any credibility, is to sign Lemar and make Sanchez stay for the last year of his contract. If we let him go to City, I fear Chelski will make a ridiculous bid for Aguero and in one foul swoop we will have strengthened two clubs we are already behind in the PL pecking order. That truly is a doomsday scenario forArsenal.

It's just a case of the greedy modern footballer. Arsenal are a huge club supported world wide with a massive history. City are a small club run by a Country. I think Pep is a great manager but I bet with their leaky defence they have no chance of winning the Premier let alone the Champ League. 50 Million for Kyle Walker with stones next to him does not scare me. Sanchez is in it for the money it's no spin.
You just don't get 'it' do you. You obviously believe the Wenger PR Machine and all the crap they spout when they want to do 'a job' on someone.

Alexis is a rich man already , he is one of the best ten forwards in the world, he is signed to us, a club with a manager who is incapable of winning the prem title EVER Again regardless of whom we have playing for us. Alexis knows this as do we all; well except for a few people on here who somehow still live in La La Land and think Wenger is Not Past his Sell-By-Date.

I truly, truly hope that Alexis does stay, simply because I enjoy watching him in the Red & White of Arsenal FC, That IS Arsenal FC Not Arsene fc.

Any player with an iota of sense will try and get the best financial deal they can - But in the end there is only so much they can earn and spend and with a short-span career only so many seasons and opportunities to win the trophies/medals.

Wenger is Totally and Utterly at Fault in this situation, had he been a football manager of worth instead of a lying, delusional financial despot - Alexis, Ozil and The Ox would have had new contracts Signed, Sealed and Done Last Year, instead Wenger leaves it till now - whilst still offering generous and ill-thought out deals to the likes of BGV, walcott and ramsey all of whom are not good enough to wear the shirt; Carzorla is now past his prime and yet Wenger in his infinite stupidity still offers him a deal even though it looks like he is going to be side-lined for a further 6 to 8 months with his ongoing injury.
spot on fella....as regards Santi would love to see him back, but fear he will ever wear that famous Arsenal shirt again

Lots of reports that Szczesny is joining Juventus ( ) for £10m with the deal supposedly going through "in the next 48 hours".
Not good enough for us but apparently good enough for Juventus....

Debuchy is also supposed to be having a medical "in the next 48 hours" with Nice (or maybe not depending which paper you read).

There's gonna be a raft of players sold before Arsenal tie down Ozil, maybe Sanchez to new deals to get their wages in line with new fa guidelines on financial fair play.
£30m for Walcott, £10m for szcezsny, £12m for Gibbs, £15m for Perez and debuchy on a free, not only pays for Lacazette but frees up an estimated £200k a week in wages.
Hope Giroud stays proved a valuable alternative from the bench last season and will get a start in Europa league.
Not sure who else we're going to sign. I think 2 more will come in. Cazorla's replacement is imperative in this window.

Also talk of Chambers to Palace for about £16m- £20m, which means we get our money back on a player who never plays.
Jenkinson and Jack potentially offloaded too gives us a huge amount of wages extra.
Did BDG "retire" ?

spot on.
it truly is unbelievable how the club can STILL get away with spinning things in their favour.
I hope that Sanchez does leave to win trophies - it is great that a player has the ambition to do that, it is so much easier to lounge about at Arsenal for years and have no pressure on them (Walcott I am looking at you 8) )
