So Utd are favs to sign Sanchez now. We will find out a lot about Alexis over the next few days, he's 29 now so his next move is crucial if he wants to fulfill his ambition of winning the PL/CL.

He's been offered £290k a week by City, and £350k by Manure. Manure are probably at best the third best team in the PL, Liverpool are amazing going forward and unlike Arsenal are addressing their defensive deficiencies.Therefore, I put them ahead of Manure in the pecking order. So for me Alexis is taking a big risk joining Maureen &Co.

If he goes to United, no doubt in my eyes he's doing it for the big pay cheque. It wouldn't surprise me if he stays until the end of the season, with City not budging on their transfer fee. So is Alexis a *word censored* or a bigger *word censored* but not quite as big a *word censored* as Wenger.

Let's not get duped into focusing on Sanchez's motives and directing any anger or frustration at him. Wenger's played that "get out of jail" card before, most notably when RvP joined the same club at the same stage in his career. I was one of the few who defended his decision. He was absolutely right: why should an elite professional footballer at 29 sacrifice a chance of winning something big by staying with a manager who was clearly finished six years ago when he made that call, let alone now when Sanchez surveys the wreckage. It's true that United are currently behind City (who isn't!) but they are the bird in hand: by the end of the season City may have lost interest. He has more chance of winning something serious at United in the next three years than by staying with the waste of space that is Wenger, that's for sure.

Of course it's Wengers fault, doesn't excuse Sanchez from behaving like a prick in the last year though.
