Re: The January "He Looks Quite Good" Transfer Thread
Might be a good idea to get Aubameyang and Mhkitarian paired up again.

Of course it's Wengers fault, doesn't excuse Sanchez from behaving like a prick in the last year though.Bob Bayliss wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2018 7:23 pmLet's not get duped into focusing on Sanchez's motives and directing any anger or frustration at him. Wenger's played that "get out of jail" card before, most notably when RvP joined the same club at the same stage in his career. I was one of the few who defended his decision. He was absolutely right: why should an elite professional footballer at 29 sacrifice a chance of winning something big by staying with a manager who was clearly finished six years ago when he made that call, let alone now when Sanchez surveys the wreckage. It's true that United are currently behind City (who isn't!) but they are the bird in hand: by the end of the season City may have lost interest. He has more chance of winning something serious at United in the next three years than by staying with the waste of space that is Wenger, that's for sure.nut flush gooner wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2018 6:25 pmSo Utd are favs to sign Sanchez now. We will find out a lot about Alexis over the next few days, he's 29 now so his next move is crucial if he wants to fulfill his ambition of winning the PL/CL.
He's been offered £290k a week by City, and £350k by Manure. Manure are probably at best the third best team in the PL, Liverpool are amazing going forward and unlike Arsenal are addressing their defensive deficiencies. Therefore, I put them ahead of Manure in the pecking order. So for me Alexis is taking a big risk joining Maureen &Co.
If he goes to United, no doubt in my eyes he's doing it for the big pay cheque. It wouldn't surprise me if he stays until the end of the season, with City not budging on their transfer fee. So is Alexis a *word censored* or a bigger *word censored* but not quite as big a *word censored* as Wenger.

Any news on the Brazilian jockey joining us?
Aubameyang's not coming, but the next €45m waste of space c.unt from Bordeaux most likely is. Can't wait for this to happen. If I was the Bordeaux chairman I'd fleece Wiggy and Shit for Brains for every fucking cent going. Hope we end up spending 50m on him and he turns out to be an utter pile of turd. More of Wiggy's money gone, more pain for SFB

Sky are reporting City have ended their interest in Alexis as he will cost too much (the irony) as he would be on a free in the summer.
Sky are also saying that City was his preferred destination.

City have pulled out of the race to sign Sanchez. Time to spread those arse cheeks as far apart as we can to take a rimming from united again.

Sanchez to Man Utd with us getting some fucking shit cast-off. Hmm. I think I've heard this one before but involving Cole and Chelsea.

Now now, don't be negative. I'm sure SFB is going to line up one of their superstars to come this way in return and make Jose look stupid like he did with Sir Rednose when we snared Silvestre, and Van Gaal when we took Welbeck. And don't forget, apparently Maureen was livid when we nicked Helmet Head from him when he was with the Chavs, and who went on to be the keeper that won us the league.rodders999 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2018 8:56 pmCity have pulled out of the race to sign Sanchez. I'm sure there's some more super, super, top quality hidden away in the corridors of Old Trafford that our Lord and Master has spent night and day scouting

And if I'm sanchez I would contact pep and ask him if citeeh would still want me in the summer if I refuse to go to manure now - if pep gives him the answer he wants, I dont think sanchez will go to manure

If City were that bothered they would get him to sign a pre-contract agreement, not make him some airy-fairy promise.
"With six months or less remaining on an existing contract for players aged 23 or older, they are free to negotiate with other clubs and sign a pre-contract agreement, indicating their ability to move to their intended club on a Bosman transfer when the next transfer window opens."

Thought they could only sign a pre-contract agreement for a club in another country.Bob Bayliss wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2018 9:07 pmIf City were that bothered they would get him to sign a pre-contract agreement, not make him some airy-fairy promise.
