With the right coaching and management he is head and shoulders better than we have plus i think he has a genuine affection for the club.
I don't think that is why he ended up there. There were issues at Arsenal about smoking in the changing rooms etc. He has a laddish personality and AW didn't like him. He didn't choose to leave, he was sent packing.augie wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 11:20 ambobbybigb wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 9:39 amSceszny was often given lots of stick on this forum.....much of it well deserved . In a more disciplined structure, and with better coaching, chesney could have been a quality keeper for us for many years - it says a lot that chesney would rather sit on juve's bench than stay and play under this fcuked up regime![]()

When the old sod EVENTUALLY leaves, I shall always remember the top talent he got rid of because simply they sussed him out!...Nos89 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 12:27 pmWenger goes, szcezsny returns?bobbybigb wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 9:39 amSceszny was often given lots of stick on this forum.....much of it well deserved . Cole was an utter bellend about it though. I dont agree that five grand made the difference between him staying or going. He was an Arsenal fan, if you are playing for the team you love that amount of money is incidental. At that stage we still had dein at the club and we where getting to cup finals every season. I find it strange how gooners gave rvp a hard time when in 2011 the cracks where certainly growing with our ability or inability to mount a sustained title challenge.Allgunsblazin wrote: ↑Fri Mar 09, 2018 9:54 amWhen the old sod EVENTUALLY leaves, I shall always remember the top talent he got rid of because simply they sussed him out!...Nos89 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 12:27 pmWenger goes, szcezsny returns?bobbybigb wrote: ↑Thu Mar 08, 2018 9:39 amSceszny was often given lots of stick on this forum.....much of it well deserved . And I shall start from his refusal to give Ashley Cole a five grand a week pay rise, and fucking Wengeristas starting bashing the guy for going to Chelsea and winning trophies!....
History does bite you on the Arse when you least expect it!....
The 30 year rule from Doktor Mengele was a smart move too....
Difference being Cole was always fit RVP had his one off season then fucked off, so I believe Gooners were right and tbf he ended up in Turkeynut flush gooner wrote: ↑Fri Mar 09, 2018 3:39 pmCole was an utter bellend about it though. SAF rang Wenger up and said I want RVP, Wenger said ok. To say that because RVP is a tool because he was injury prone then fucked off doesn't make any sense to me. RVP at that stage could see the club was a selling club, that's not his fault. He was in his prime and gave Utd the title. His decision to leave was correct.Allgunsblazin wrote: ↑Fri Mar 09, 2018 4:01 pmDifference being Cole was always fit RVP had his one off season then fucked off, so I believe Gooners were right and tbf he ended up in Turkeynut flush gooner wrote: ↑Fri Mar 09, 2018 3:39 pmCole was an utter bellend about it though. Finishing below your hated rivals but winning a cup trophy always ends up trumps, being a better season.
