Re: Who should be our next manager?
To be honest I think most gooners will be patient if they can see progress happening.
I really do think progress is the key point. Take the bin dippers for example, they may not win a trophy this season but I'm pretty sure the fans are happy with the football they're seeing and you could definitely say they are competing. Still in the CL and competing with all but Man City in the league.
There is something building there.
I'd like to think as gooners that if we could see that kind of direction at our club and a new manager trying to implement changes to our style then he would get some patience from us
Of course you are right..... there will be a few AKB's out there like the walking club shop on fan tv saying "See I told you be careful what you wished for" the second something goes wrong but lets hope he is a minority when the time actually comes.

Look at Zidane, he's gone in straight at Real Madrid. Can you imagine him starting off in the French third division? It just wouldn't work.DB10GOONER wrote: ↑Tue Mar 06, 2018 5:32 pmOne of the few intelligent things Merse ever said was that quite often the reason great players don't make great managers is they get frustrated by players not being at the same technical level they were at themself when they were players.
Additional. I'm pretty sure DB10 has gone on record saying he wants to only be a coach and has no interest in management.
Also, part of the reason Hoodle would have struggled maintaining the the English team manager as he was still the best midfielder at training. Apparently, he used to put Beckham to shame during set piece practices.
On this theme and given the state of our current squad maybe David Hillier would be a suitable replacement for Wenger.

He he, that's going back a bit! I think he 'helped' people at airports with their belongings but not necessarily in the conventional way......as the court appearance would suggest.

Tuchel to replace Wenger?
http://www.espn.co.uk/football/bayern-m ... ob-reports
____
Hope the reports are wrong, Tuchel is not good enough defensively and has done f*ck all really, sounds like a Kroenke type appointment though.

Re: Tuchel to replace Wenger?
I doubt that story tbh - it is well known that tuchel and mislintat had a huge bust up at dortmund and tuchel banned mislintat from the clubs training ground, so it would be hard to picture them working together again I would think
Re: Tuchel to replace Wenger?
I think it is born out of him seemingly rejecting Bayern and saying his next club would be abroad, could be anyone really, most likely Le Fraud will stilll be here next August

Re: Tuchel to replace Wenger?
If the bloke is prepared to wait until 2023 when Lord C.untslop finally decides it's time to go (which obviously he's earned the right to do
) then who knows.....until then, another 'non story' of a manager linked with Arsenal. Call me old fashioned but there normally has to be a vacancy first or at least a pending one......no chance of TO1AW leaving this Summer, absolutely none

It truly is a terrifying prospect as to whom might become the next manager - there is a genaral consenus of some good names, but we all know what we think and want counts for Nothing. Mind you more terrifying is wenger signing another contract. Jeeeeeeeeeeezusss it's depressing.

"Standard Sport understands Arsenal are yet to seriously explore any alternatives despite identifying several options including Tuchel, Carlo Ancelotti, Joachim Low, Max Allegri and Leonardo Jardim"
no one is coming....as usual

Average 'real' attendance at the bowl next season = 25,000 (half of which will be zzzz for most of the time). Why the f*ck do people still buy tickets to see Arsenal under Wenger?, they need sectioning just like him.

As much as I like how Low has Germany playing good football, I just don't think I could put up with watching him plunge his fingers into his own arse and then smell them, midway through Super Sunday.
