It's back, other games this weekend

Or we could just whine about it on every fucking football show for over 30 years those damn Argies oops I meant Dutchies! :D

I'm suprised Maradona or Koeman didn't end up playing for Ireland under Jack Charlton. Surely both of them once saw a picture of Dublin in a book or had a great, great grandmother who stopped there for a day. Wasn't that enough to get about 50 caps?
Oh we tried to get them. Cùnts wouldn't bite.
You got Cascarino.....what else do you fucking want

Clinton Morrison?
Now the worst pundit on Sky,is that the bloke you mean?

Cascarino (or "Catch-a-rhino" as he was known in Dublin) was an Oireland legend - not because of his footballing "ability" but because his Oirish granny turned out to be Italian and he had absolutely nothing to qualify him to play for Oireland. He told Charlton and Charlton told him to stay schtum.

We Oirish love that kind of shit. :tricolour: 8)
He also told Charlton that he wasn't a real footballer but Charlton told him to stay schtum.
Only one of them facts I knew....

I was at a family party with some ex Semi-Pro footballers in the NW Kent area, one geezer was involved with Crockenhill and he was telling me Cascarino was a left back, but they had a decent left back so they chucked him up front, the rest they say, is history..

Hope Chelsea beat United. Marginally the lesser of two evils.

Interested to see how Bakayoko does. Bloke has been a fucking car crash every time I’ve watched him.

Michael Oliver might as well fuck off home if he hasn’t got the balls to book Kante for that.

As cynical as they come and United on a really dangerous break.

Fucking coward. Rules on yellow cards different if you’ve got a big reputation and it’s early on.

Phil Jones hacking down Hazard clean through seven yards out also only a yellow.

What’s frightening is seeing Graham Poll agreeing because it was a “genuine attempt to get the ball”. How frightening is it that referees don’t know the basic laws of the game? The red card offence is denying a clear goalscoring opportunity, zero relevance whether it’s deliberate. Besides, how often do defenders intentionally foul players clean through on goal?

1-0 Chelsea. Been a bit dull so far but Hazard popping up in space between uniteds midfield and defence and uniteds defence not good enough to deal with him.

Plus United would equal our record of cup wins, which them not doing is our only crumb of comfort lately

Cheers, didn’t realise that (obviously )

I wonder to what extent that’s intended to address accidental handballs or accidentally clipping somebody rather than something like today? How often do players actually intentionally commit a foul to give away a penalty?

If that Phil Jones tackle - lunging in from miles behind an getting nowhere near the ball as a player is about to shoot unimpeded from seven yards out - isn’t a red card that is ludicrous.

Think Giroud was bang average today. No goal threat, little link-up play, no holding the ball up second half when Chelsea were floundering and last ten minutes has been Hazard busting a gut to close down whilst Giroud ambles about.

Sanchez has also been piss poor. Every other time he gets it he either gives it away or shoots from an inappropriate position.

The worlds most expensive man-child Paul Pogba with yet another ineffective display in a big game.

All in all a pretty dull game between two boring sides.

Fabregas also a complete shadow of the midfielder he was at us. It’s like he’s running in treacle compared to 2007 - 2011.
