Well, it is a real possibility. I am a big advocate of the theory that a right-back playing as a right winger doesn't work. However, I do believe that Eboue started as a winger and was then converted to right-back.

Maybe he could be more effective in that role? Time will tell. I do have my doubts though.

The thing is with Hoyte is that he's got the club in his heart and we need some players like that in the squad/team.

He did improve massively last season and I hope he continues to get decent run outs this season. Sagna is a top signing but I would be dissapointed if Hoyte leaves because of it.

I think we will push Eboue further up field though. He can whip in a great cross (Henry v Man Utd) and with Eduardo being very good in the air I think Eboue will play an important part in our attacking next season.

Thats what i want to see, Ebue on the midfield, because definitely Ebue Cant Defend, but he have an attacking style, i like him when he goes deep, beleive hi will be an perfect Midfielder. Also Sagna looks to be an Ideal player for the defence.

He's got a decent shot on him and I think will bang in a few 25 yarders like he did at Sunderland in the Carling Cup if he plays further forward.

I do agree that his defending isn't the best and Sagna will be much better off at the back.

But i do feel he's got a lot to offer going forward.

DON'T WORRY RAM. SHOULD THIS COME TRUE, I WILL, OF COURSE, OFFER YOU A SEAT ON THE BOARD AS A REWARD. HOWEVER, YOU WILL HAVE TO BACK ME IN ALL MY DECISIONS - FOR THE GOOD OF THE CLUB, OBVIOUSLY!!
Gladly!
OH, I ALMOST FORGOT. MIND YOU, IF IT DOESN'T COME TRUE AND YOU PROVE TO BE A CHARLATAN, THERE IS PLENTY OF ROOM IN MY 'AQUARIUM' - AND THE SHARKS IN THERE HAVEN'T BEEN FED FOR A LITTLE WHILE!!
*Gulp*
FINGERS CROSSED, EH??
Yes, definitely!

Lets not forget we leaked a lot of goals through the right hand side last season, but Eboue did rather well overlapping, even in big matches (Manure and Totsscum). We were looking for wide players at the start of the season, I personally would prefer a natural left winger over Eboue but I think he has shown enough last season for Arsene to try him in that position. Then theres an issue of cover for Clichy. As talented as Traore is, no one can say that he is ready to be in the big league yet. Its been said that Sagna could play on the left as well. So he will provide the defensive capabilities of a right back which Eboue lacked last season and could also act as Clichy's cover. Seems like a reasonable signing.

Mornin' lads, just got back from work, and looking thru what you lot were all chatting about yesterday. With the arrival of Sagna, what do you think of Justin Hoytes chances of getting many games next season? I think he's gonna do one and leave. Be a shame if he did though, I hear Sunderland want him.
