Club wins every time. Country is for lower division supporters e.g. Leeds (Ha Ha) who want to watch the big boys play and only ever get to Wembley for concerts!

How can I support an England team with the likes of Rooney, Neville, Terry, Lampard, Ferdinand, Cashley, Robinson, King, Lennon etc etc in?

I use 2 say 100% 4 ur club with the 110% 4 ur country
But i really h8 watching England at the mo & ain't the same side i always wanted 2 go & c
There a brillant team when on form (plus the team has great players init)
The team of 96 & 98 was my favs as they were the teams i grew up watching
I went 2 my 1st England match against Brazil which was 2 me a pointless friendly match 2 make more money out of the fans like all of us the fa said it was to help build up the team against Estoria!!!!
England play matches which they should win but lose 2 the craphy teams in Easten Europe 2 try & quailfey 4 the European Championship, gd champions they would b if they lose 2 those sort of team.
2 me it's club which u have 2 give ur overall 4 as ur playing & training with the same people every week rather than the other 'best talents' that the country has 2 offer once every so often

All_Arsenal_1886,

Sorry bruv, but everone knows that there were only 4 members of the A-Team!!  However, if you think that you would be better in a certain role, and really want a part in this exciting new project, YOU ASK THEM!!! (coz I'm too scared!)

Another thing, is it just me or is text speak difficult to work out.

Younger members of the forum, please have some consideration for us older fellas (you know, pre-IPod) who are struggling to make out what you've written. If at all possible, please help us and try and write in ENGLISH!!!!

Thanking you in advance of your co-operation.

Club all the way.

International football is just to fill the gap every couple of summers and let you keep tabs on how your best players are looking.

You know, it must be very frustrating being an England fan. Seriously. No p*ss take. You definitely could field a world beating 11 in nearly every generation but the FA go and appoint whoever the media like at the time and you end up with a spineless "yes man" as manager.

I've always said it; if the FA had the balls to appoint Cloughy back in the day, he would have won the world cup for England. I have no doubts at all about that. The man was a winner. But he didn't play the "game" the way the FA liked.

What's the bets BigFatF*ckingSam Allerdyce will be England manager within the next two years and the media will love him and then he'll fail miserably and the media will turn on him. It's like f*cking Groundhog Day!! They do it every time.

No wonder most real English footy fans don't support the national side. In Ireland we have a similar problem but one that is added to by the fact that our Fa are all crooks out to line their pockets...

Stan Staunton? Never coached, never managed anyone - he'll do for Ireland! Stick 72 year old Bobby Robson (no offence to Bobby) beside him.

Genius?

Hilarious.
