Metro reporting that Dick now has 3 games to save his job - no source whatsoever as they've just made it up based on the previous bullshit rumour of him having 4 games to save his job, less the Saints game therefore he must have 3 games to go. These twats get paid to come up with this sh.it

Hope I am wrong but I can't see anything happening until the new year at the earliest. Sanllehi and Edu have to make an appointment to see wiggy before they can take any action and as it's coming upto Xmas wiggy's diary is full up with lots of xmas drinkies so we'll just have to wait a bit :x Can't help but think that the wigster enjoys ignoring all the clamour for something to happen at the club as he has no intention of bowing to pressure from anybody. Twat.
Kroenke will be loving the fact that everyone is moaning about Emery rather than him!
as long as is the case he won't get sacked. only when fans start turning their attention on the real problem here willl he act.

Mikel Arteta is a top contender to replace Marco Silva at Everton after making a big impression since retiring from playing. He is set to be sounded out by third parties about his interest in the post in the coming days [@footyinsider247] https://t.co/vzvoMgYpgH

so basically we have missed out on Mourinho, Arteta will go to Everton, Allegri will go to United, Benitez to West Ham and we will be left with FAT SAM for the relegation battle in the New Year....

Let's not get carried away here -

allegri we were never likely to get anyway - maybe we have already reached out to him and he turned us down, but he was only a pipe dream imo

arteta has impressed at citeeh …….. so has the tea lady and she has probably had as big an impact as arteta

Benitez was never considered one of the front runners to replace emery anyway - maybe his defensive/negative mentality is what is needed to instill some defensive structure and organisation to this team, but imo he would be another appointment that would bring short term improvements, but wont be the one to lift us up to the elite level again

Elite level eh......doesn't that take top players and a few bob as well as a decent manager......now THAT sounds like a pipe dream

Ornstein on Athletic podcast: It looks now a matter of when not if Emery’s leaving.

Added that the situation is ‘very very delicate’ and feeling is ‘things are happening’

Stressed that ‘at the time of recording’ the plan is for Emery to lead the club on Thursday.

It is understood Gunners would be forced to pay at least £4million in compensation to sack Emery before the end of the season - though his staff would also be entitled to pay-offs which would increase that package. [@MailSport]

Arsenal risk losing star duo Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette next summer.

They have been trying to negotiate new deals with the strikers but fears are growing they will be reluctant to commit while Unai Emery remains in charge. [@MirrorFootball]

Better to boot him today so he is out the way. Yet another show of incompetency by our lords and masters and it smacks of petulant reluctance to me. If he goes after Thurs it means the new guy has two days before the next league match which arguably is for me more important.

I definitely dont expect miracles if he is replaced but i would like to see stabilisation as soon as possible in the league and Norwich would be a good place to start. A couple of days is not a lot of time to to start to turn things around, improve player mentality and start to instill a bit of new identity never mind do anything about our shocking defence and midfield. :rubchin:

Just re-read the original post and had to edit mine as i misread 'lead' as 'leave', if he's here Thursday against Frankfurt then he will be here for Norwich i would think, they are dragging this out but i guess the thinking is Norwich is away so it will be a less toxic atmosphere than if it were be home at the bowl, which gives extra breathing space in their minds. :rubchin:
