OFFICAL EURO 08 THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Cesc made a huge difference when he came on. :barscarf: Thank God he buried the pen cos he was shitting himself.

I am so glad my prediction of Italy winning the thing is wrong. They were so f*cking negative and boring it felt like banging your head on a wall. Do we have an emoticon for that :?: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Absolutely Fabregas! :banner:

"He's only twenty one, he's better than Buffon." :barscarf: Yeah I know it's corny

Cesc ran the game once they finally got him on and could still be the star of the tournament? Aragones seems to have used him well so far to protect his fitness but agree Cesc must start the semi.

Luca Toni's "moustache". As Alan Hansen would say "absolutely woeful"

Looked like it was from a black and white French romance film, I seriously smiled every time there was close-up of Toni  Anyway, has there every been a more limited player than Toni who you expected so much from

For me the one guy that deserves an honour is MAD JENS.

Even if it's the Best Chewer of the tournament. The classic chewing keeper constantly urging his troops to calm down.Reminds me of Sep Meyer in the 70s both in looks and stature.

well done cesc was very proud to see him slot it away with confidence on the big screen not a great atmosphere at the game i must say but still an excellent trip

It's just beginning to hit me that we should have kept him on for just one more year.
