I reckon every English player under 25 who played at the Euro's is worth 100m. We should be valuing Saka at more than 100m. And why the fuck wouldn't we? If Harry McGuire goes for 80m and Grealish is apparently going to City for 100m, Saka should be valued higher. Really, we should be assigning a value to Saka more than Spurs will ask for Harry Kane.

Makes you wonder though. This novelty of paying excess for domestic nationalities doesn't happen in Italy or Spain. Juventus will spent 90m on Ronaldo. Or Barcelona will spend 100m on Griezmann. But these are the high end of players. Where was Man United will spend 100m on a work horse centre half, or Grealish, a player who is 25 and has scored 15 top flight goals. Which is a tally Ronaldo or Griezman would get in half a season, let alone half their careers.

I agree, it seems very odd - his stock will not got much higher than it was at the end of last season, so if we can sell him for £25m bloody we’ll do it.

Dont agree with that at all rodders - saliba knows that arteta wants shot of him so he is playing hard ball and I dont blame him for that. Everyone, including the AFC fanbase, knows that saliba isnt being loaned out to gain experience, and as long as pep's water boy is in charge saliba knows that he wont have a chance here regardless of how well he does on loan - why wouldnt he then opt to only go somewhere that suited him ? He wants to play here so it isnt that he only wants to play in france, but that avenue is blocked for him until we get shot of the basque c.unt
