ALL Transfer talk - merged thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

However Russia has a history with football as we call it , the American attitude to Soccer is different.

This guy isn't perfect but he knows his onions and isn't afraid to speak the truth, unlike AFTV and all those wasters.

Russian or American makes no difference at all.

It's down to the individual and how they run a 'business '.

Kroenke runs us with the bottom line as God. Abramovic runs Chelsea as a bit of a play thing.
I'd take Abramovich over Kroenke-*word censored* any day of the week.

Heard him being pro Kroenke a year or two ago, loses all credibility there straight away.

The Mirror claim #Arsenal are exploring a shock move for Bernardo Silva as Mikel Arteta looks to add more creativity to his side. https://t.co/vXQwhAL9mL

James Maddison is also in Arteta’s sights but Leicester, who value their player at £60m, are playing hardball & a deal for Bernardo could be easier to get over the line.

Can't see Silva coming, better clubs will probably come in for him, also he's 27 in a week so spending £50M+ on him doesn't really work?.

Someone was saying the other day Maddison feels like a 'marquee' signing to buy favour with KSE, sounds about right, good player but if all our loan money is going on him not the best 'investment'.

Past really caring now, the club is either going to f*ck itself with serious debt that wiggy w@nker piles on it, or eventually if we keep losing money, which is highly likely, the useless tossers might sell up, that's if anyone will touch us when we are carrying so much debt from the clueless yank tossers.

Already two seasons in to the new 'normal' - midtable obscurity, get used to it because we have many more to come.

Be excited! :banghead: :banghead:  :censored:

FFS Nketiah injured and out for a month!

The lad has 1 year remaining on his contract… we need to sell ASAP so why the hell is he playing meaningless friendlies? :x

With all due respect who cares, he's crap......maybe give Martinelli a better shot at getting the last 10 minutes as everyone seems to be ahead of him at Arteta's Arsenal.

Another thing that looks like becoming a permanent fixture in football is the kneeling before every match, the FA has already said they intend to continue with it. I knew this was going to become a problem....they launched into this virtue signalling without thinking it through or setting some sort of time period and now that they have recklessly taken off, they have found they have nowhere to land. There is no one in the English football hierarchy who has the guts to walk this back for fear of being cancelled. So now we are stuck with it....anyone who disagrees, boos or complains will be smeared as racist. Modern football :? :? :?

Bernardo Silva over Maddison EVERY day of the week. I doubt we will get either.
