All the talk was that lego head was putting out a strong team tonight in a bid to get the season going, yet he is starting kolasniac, elninny, pepe, chambers, ramsdale and xhaka - what could go wrong ?

Augie,I know you're not a fan of legroveblog, but he's suggesting that Arteta is trying to make some kind of statement about what he wants from the market

How does that stack up though mc ? Is he playing elninny cos he wants a new midfielder ? If so the board would be entitled to point to partey, sambi and odegaard as his signings, plus the new contract he given to xhaka :? He is playing pepe AGAIN despite stinking the place out of it in both games so far  Mari, another one of his signings, is dropped to the bench after his raping on sunday - some statement about his signings that is

I know nelson didnt do enough sunday to start tonight, but I dont think that his performance was bad enough to see him dropped from the bench

Tavares, a LB, on the right.
Chambers can play RB and is playing CB.
Kola, who was apparently out the door, on the left.
A CB new pairing.
Elneny is shite.
Odegaard thrown in.

Shocking.

West Brom's total focus this season will be on getting back into the PL so I can't see them being anywhere near full strength for this as they won't want the distraction of it, so I can see nothing other than a handy away win here.

And if the game was at the souless bowl I would agree with you, but the game is at their place and they will want to put on a show in front of their fans who are still buzzing to be back at games again. Also I think that if this was later in the season there would be more chance of west brom rotating to help their promotion push, but right now it is all about momentum for them
West Brom make 11 changes….Roddaz Knows 8)

Not with the team they picked  I know rodders suggested that they would rotate tonight (and he was obviously right), but if I am a baggies fan I would be seriously pissed off to see that level of rotation after 4 fcuking games

Apparently Holding and Kolašinac are warming up together, so they could well be in a CB pairing with Chambers RB, Tavares LB. We’ll see.

The Arsenal IG posted that it was Tavares RB, but the social media lineups are often wrong.

I chucked some money on us to lose or draw in the 90, earlier. Even with the changes, I still wouldn't be surprised to pick up some cash tomorrow. Tragic really.

Your money is gone buddy - if we score early we will cruise to a 3-0 or 4-0 win, but even if we dont score early we will still win by at least 2 goals

A defeat here would probably be for the best long term, but whatever happens I do want auba to get on score sheet again - man that guy needs a boost to get his head back where it needs to be

Remember when we played up there in the snow and there was talk of Arteta's job being on the line? Oh, how things haven't changed at all...
