Source Online Daily Mail..... (No I don't read that rag it popped up when I wa son You Tube):
Arsenal could be tempted to explore the idea of a part-exchange deal for Ajax playmaker Mohammed Kudus, who has been linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium before the end of the summer transfer window. The Gunners have already improved their squad with the additions of Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice but will be looking to add further quality over the coming weeks in advance of the new Premier League campaign Kudus has been mentioned in connection with a move to England since impressing for Ghana at last year's World Cup, with Arsenal one of several clubs to have been credited with an interest in his signature. The north Londoners are keen on Kudus but are hoping to sell players before kicking off talks, according to the Daily Mail, while Ajax have reportedly valued their man at around £40million.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal would be prepared to pay the full value of Kudus' asking price, with the club having already spent upwards of £200m on player recruitment this summer. They could be inclined to throw in a player as they look to reach a compromise with Ajax, while such a move would also help to trim their squad as well as driving down the fee required to land Kudus.
Nicolas Pepe would seemingly be a candidate to be included in any player-plus-cash offer, with the 28-year-old having been deemed surplus to requirements by Mikel Arteta after spending last season on loan at Nice. Pepe was signed for a transfer fee of around £72m four years ago but has failed to make the grade in north London and is widely expected to leave the club at some point this summer.
Kudus has a very good reputation and apparently is Versatile.... It would be great if we could off-load Pepe as well!.
Meanwhile - Cozier- Duberry and Ruell Walters along with Nwaneri May get first team minutes this season …albeit in the Coca Cola / Rumbelows / Milk cup
Bayern Munich are open to sell Kimmich or Goretzka.
If we are not all over this, tired of this Caicedo saga.
Goretzka is the very definition of dogshit - no way should we sign him
I'd put a query on Kimmich to be honest, class of a player. Goreztka still has it but not as good, as a back up could do us good
Kimmich is top quality for sure, but after signing Timber what would be the point in signing Kimmich ? We need a striker as top priority, and if we sell partey we would need a powerful CDM as next priority imo

As much as I agree with you Augie, I'll be amazed if he signs a proper centre foward. It won't happen. He might sign another number 10/false 9 type, which he seems obsessed with, but can't see him going for the type of goalscoring striker you and I mean.
I want him to sign another top quality centre mid, whether Partey stays or not. I know you quite like Partey, but he arrived with quite a fanfare (I knew nothing about him) and for me he's been bang average at best and disappopinting overall. For the first half of last season I thought he was just better than we'd seen before, but I wasn't blown away in any way.
We won't go after Caicedo, but that's the signing I want.

Not quite correct there buddy - when he arrived to much fanfare, I cautioned over-hype because he looked good defensively in a very defensive team set up in Ath Madrid, and I worried if that masked weaknesses in his game. For the first two years with us he was ok but no better than that I would suggest, but I felt that in the first half of last season he was outstanding, and then absolute garbage in the last 2 months.
I'm old school in that I like my defensive midfielder to be an enforcer more than an interceptor, and I dont see an enforcer in our squad if partey goes - if we sold him and bought amrabat (for example) then I would be quite happy to sell him, but I dont see rice as a pure CDM
I agree that he wont sign a striker to take jesus's position in the team, in the same way that he wont buy a left full to take zinchenko's spot in the team - they are his boys, he trained them at citeeh, he brought them here, and his loyalty to them will lead to his downfall imo. We can do better than both of those players imo

Me Too, we get him and the chances of us challenging on All Fronts Improves Dramatically.
Inter Milan could switch their transfer focus to West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca if Arsenal fail to lower Folarin Balogun’s £50million asking price.
