If we can’t recount our stinging experiences on the transfer thread then where can we do it god damn it 8)

The one that got me was an angry little bastard, made 4 different attempts over the course of 20 minutes, circling around and dive bombing around my head. He’d piss off for a bit before returning angrier than ever until he finally blew his wad on the 5th visit. A truly despicable c.unt. The Bruno Fernandez of insects those arseholes are.

Right, back on topic….have we signed Mbappe yet?

We were just about to get the deal done but you scared him off with tales of out of control wasps.

I’ve a feeling that if Toney 365 hadn’t gotten a ban we’d have gone for in him this summer, and my other feeling is that once his ban is up in January we’ll be back.
That's my hope too Rodders - it can't have escaped the attention of the management team that Jesus isn't anywhere near prolific enough (not to mention the new injury king), and with them set to sell Balogun, that leaves Eddie as the sole option......unless there really is a genius ploy to adopt Havertz as false 9.

Once Toney has served his time it wouldn't surprise me to see clubs queuing back up for him

The thing is a Bee will only sting someone or something IF they feel their life or the Hive is in danger - Because when a Bee stings someone/something - Part of the stinging mechanism and action rips their entire guts out hence they die.

Whereas a wasp has up to 8 stings before it has to take a time-out as it were, ie: they actually need to replenish their body with food, so that the part of their anatomy that provides the venom can be 're-fuelled' as it were.

Bee's are human kinds oldest ally(*) and left alone will not sting, harm, hurt another - It is purely a defence mechanism (just as we have the Flight or Fight built into our automotive system)

The Wasp is just an angry nasty fucker and will sting anyone and anything if it is having an off moment or bad day. BUT will sting time and again if they feel threatened by someone waving their hands about to swish them away. When they do sting, a pheromone is released into the air which alerts other Wasps to what is perceived as "Danger" a bit like a War Cry or a Call To Arms.

Bee's also have this in their Arsenal (pun intended! ) But Other Bee's in the vicinity of the released pheromone, will 'scan' the area first before becoming involved (Bee's have Ultra-Violet vision / perception and on that level of 'seeing' are able to detect "Aggressive" motion / movements.

(*) Almost 90% of wild plants and 75% of leading global crops depend on animal pollination. One out of every three mouthfuls of our food depends on pollinators such as Bees. Crops that depend on pollination are five times more valuable than those that do not. Bees pollinate intentionally it is how they are able to feed themselves via Pollen, Honey and Propolis (The latter acts as a Natural Anti-virus barrier inside the walls of the Hive)

Whereas Wasps are "Accidental Pollinators" whilst travelling from plant to plant to forage they accidentally 'pick-up' pollen. Their contribution to pollination is not be as substantial and important as Bees, but they do play a valuable part. Also (unlike Bee who have no natural enemies other than Hornets (Who are right nasty fuckers btw) Wasps play an important ecological role, as predators controlling the numbers of potential pests like greenfly and many caterpillars and so help to protect crops on large scale and in gardens.

I always think of Bee's as being Pacifists and Wasp's as Hooligans.

Oh! And Before I forget:

BBC:

Arsenal are closing in on 27-year-old Spanish keeper David Raya, who has less than a year left on his Brentford contract.

Arsenal have turned down a second o offer from Monaco for 22-year-old USA striker Folarin Balogun.

No concerns that it will be too late by then ? Personally I dont see el basque signing a striker to play ahead of jesus - jesus is his guy and he brought him from citeeh and I dont envisage him signing anyone that might upset that relationship. I believe that arteta is similar to the old senile french cock in that he believes he can re-write conventional wisdom and win without a proper goal scoring number 9 - that wont work imo

Tbh, with 105m for Rice and 65m for Havertz, I don't see how 50m for Toney would be at all unreasonable. I'd have him all day long in front of Havertz.

Apart from the fact that Arteta said Havertz was superb against City....
Did you see Arteta after the game putting his face against Havertz and having a huge smile on his face?
Arteta has got a huge hard on for Havertz that would make Xhaka jealous!! Get used to Havertz playing all the time this season because Tets LOVES him!!!

Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen hold an interest in Nuno Tavares. 🇵🇹

Arsenal would want €15m to sell him. 💰

Well, that puts to bed some of the whinger's comments about us overpaying for him.

We offered less than the spuds and Brentford said no to £35m!
