It's got to the stage where the broadcasters are now complaining that they're paying a fortune for the ball to be out of play and players to be stopping the game every two minutes. We've seen international tournaments and other leagues start playing the 'correct' amount of stoppage time but of course, like VAR, the Premier League make up their own rules and show absolutely no respect for the paying supporters or the viewers, paying a fucking fortune to watch on TV. I read somewhere last season that the Premier League don't like the idea of playing the right amount of stoppage time at the end of halves as it disrupts the pre-paid advertising slots that the broadcasters have sold and it could mean that games which kick-odd earlier in the day could run into the games kicking off later. All to do with this fucking stupid 3:00 blackout and the 17:30 slot or some shit. I think we'll start seeing a 'match time' on the screen and a 'ball in play' clock very soon. It will become something which will have to be dealt with.
