Alan Shearer on MOTD said the decisions in the match were the worst that he had ever seen
Re: other matches this weekend
Tierney off injured after 25 mins today.
He just can't stay fit for more than a couple of games. Shame for the lad.

Like I said the check complete has absolutely fucked them here so they’re now frantically having to change the story.
So the new excuse is that they didn’t forget to check it, now it’s that they thought the on field decision was goal so they didn’t step in with a correction
The game didn’t restart with a tip off and the scoreboard didn’t change - apparently they didn’t notice

I think him kicking Neil Lennon in the head and not even getting booked for it might just have been worse.Gunner Rob wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 9:50 pmAlan Shearer on MOTD said the decisions in the match were the worst that he had ever seen

Re: other matches this weekend
Good points and yet another example of how absolutely arrogant and obnoxious the referees and officials are in English football. Every fucking year, we have the same stuff; the same horrendous decisions, the same appalling 'mistakes' which are just complete incompetence and nothing ever happens or improves. Even with the most up-to-date video equipment and communication tools, these fucking imbeciles still make horrific errors. It's just fucking unbelievable. If you are making these errors time after time, something is fundamentally wrong with the system and the training. Start sacking them for gross misconduct, stop this wall of silence that they are allowed to operate behind, start demanding accountability and holding them responsible for their incompetence. They're like the Met Police with their institutionalised incompetence and toxicity. We need to have Government intervention or an independent body overseeing them and the game as a whole. Start demanding answers, start forcing change and stop allowing them to evade any form of scrutiny. Tell the fucking smug, snide little cûnts that they aren't that important, that they're going to start doing what they're told to do. Your conversations are going to be broadcast live because the public don't trust you, we're brining in automated offsides because even with all these camera angles and screens, you still can't get them right and you're going to have every single decision scrutinised as you make them by an assessor. All we hear is about how hard it is to be a referee. It isn't. It's hard doing in the park on a Sunday because these cúnts at the top level fuck it all up for them because they make such terrible decisions and act so arrogantly that nobody has any respect for them. The least significant part of football, influencing things and holding the most power. It's disgusting.BobbyPires7 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 9:14 pmThe biggest issue with VAR is that the same refs that ref the games then control the VAR. Other European leagues have totally separate VAR teams as they are specialist. They also aren’t pals with the refs. It’s like marking your own homework. Too many strong personality refs with big reputations who don’t want to be pulled up by the junior refs. It’s a total clusterfuck of a system that we have here. I would go as far as to bring in European VAR teams. That way the refs stay the same on the pitch and we get proper VAR decisions from proper VAR specialists. It also removes any corruption as we can sack VAR refs for any bad decisions without upsetting the rest of the refs.

Or maybe the dozens, literally fucking dozens, of elbows to the face he got away with throughout his career, without even a free kick being given, never mind a booking.Perryashburtongroves wrote: ↑Sun Oct 01, 2023 7:42 amI think him kicking Neil Lennon in the head and not even getting booked for it might just have been worse.Gunner Rob wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 9:50 pmAlan Shearer on MOTD said the decisions in the match were the worst that he had ever seen

Root & branch investigation, lessons have been learned, this must never be allowed to happen again..............Until next week that is.
The above statement can be applied to both the Met Police and the Social Services.

Quite a good read in the Sun about travelling to and from matches.

Re: other matches this weekend
Bindippers now asking for the audio of their disallowed goal to be released. As much as I despise their whinging and moaning in every other situation, they are absolutely spot-on with this. It's exactly what was said after the Brentford game last season and goes to show that even the clubs themselves don't trust the officials and their excuses. If there's nothing to hide, let everyone hear the conversations as they happen and not a few months later after they've had time to edit them and tamper with them. Seems like the dippers are going down the route of this not being part of the rules and the game needing to be replayed.

I’ve heard that the big 3 (Liverpool, United, Arsenal) are planning to hammer this home later this week. There’s a view that City are getting assistance and very rarely are subject to injustices (that offside v United last season aside). Also querying why the referee team for the Spurs v Liverpool game were reffing a game in UAE on Thursday night. Probably meeting their paymasters.
It’s bent and it WILL come out.

Re: other matches this weekend
It's also probably part of the bigger picture that we feel and the dippers in recent years that it doesn't matter what you do or how well you play over the course of 38 games because City will find a way to win the fucking league. You can have a brilliant season but still finish second and they really don't need any more help or other teams hindered by incompetent decisions. Dippers only won it a few years back because they themselves had so many VAR decisions go their way. It's hard enough challenging City as it is without this shit going on every few months. Also, while we're talking about it, what the fuck have Manure got to moan about? They have everything go their way with this fucking nonsense when it comes to goals ruled out or decisions not being given.BobbyPires7 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2023 5:45 pmI’ve heard that the big 3 (Liverpool, United, Arsenal) are planning to hammer this home later this week. Someone needs to remind the hypocritical little cûnt that he spent his entire career abusing referees and acting like a fucking prick.the playing mantis wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2023 5:41 pmRatface neville saying scousers statement is wrong ott and unneeded....utter *word censored* he loves the scum.
