What I'd give to have a Time Machine and go back and sign Ian Wright (Wright ! Wright!) in his Peak!

I would then bet my fucking house on us winning the Prem...

Silly I know, but one cannot help but Dream. :? :goingtobed:

As unpopular as it might be on here, the striker I’d choose from the last 30 years to put into this side is RVP.

I'd choose anelka - without a shadow of a doubt he would have been the best striker in the game had he not come from such a fcuked up family and allowed his brothers to screw up his career

Is I part of the clique? I never use mostbof them so do we have a obg, db10, sid etc ones as well???

I fear I will be using the augie one a lot if Eddie stays.

You will find it hard to believe I know, but some on here believe me to have an angry personality   I think it was done as a tongue in cheek piss take and I am still awaiting my first royalties cheque :rubchin:

They must be checking everything down to the length of merino's toenails in the medical - fcuking autopsy would be done quicker

Arteta and Edu are trying to justify paying him as much as possible, just so we won’t be able to off load him if he flops.

To this day I have no idea why we didn't try to sign him after Henry left. Anelka was at Bolton at the time. Unless it was a bad blood thing as/after he left us for Real Madrid then I simply don't understand it.

Anelka would have been the ideal Henry replacement back then.

🚨🔴🔵 After official bid from #CPFC to Arsenal revealed earlier, agreement done between Crystal Palace and Eddie Nketiah’s camp on personal terms!

Contract in place, salary agreed and final details being sorted to prepare all docs.

Club to club agreement getting closer.

Really I had no idea ;) how unfair.

I still think it's a clique thing. Is the little leprechaun one called a db10 and the hairy ewok a obg?!

Ramsdale on 120k a week. Wtf

He would have been on 40 50 k at the team we signed him from at most surely, yet we have tripled his wage.

The guys would have been delighted to join us on the same wage as he was on as its a step up. Ok give him a bit more. There was no competition for him so wtf do we get a figure of 120k a week for him.

This is a massive issue.. a player who wasn't rated much when we signed him.

Yes chuck wages at in demand big signings to get them to sign not this bloke who would have been grateful just to sign.

Bang on Mantis. It’s a long term problem at the club and means we can never shift the underachievers.

Tbh, apart from the fact that we’re paying him too much, if Ramsdale won’t move for less then at least we’ve got a reasonable second string keeper. Up to him if he’s happy not playing. None of that excuses the mad wages though and we need to correct that tendency.
I just see 0 logic in it whatsoever. Can nuttie or ec1 or Stuart who maybe more rational than me explain any logic.

He probably didn't want to come back with his tail between his legs.

Absolute waste of a player.

Here’s a thought. Eddie +£20m for Eze.

We lose Eddie’s £120k a week and pay it to Eze instead, as there’s no way he is on half of that at Palace. Win win.

They get a striker who’s better than Edouard, and we get an excellent attacking option without breaking the bank.

Simple, no?

I think Eze faltters to deceive. I'd take Coman on loan if we can't get Williams.
