As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

South side Dubliner and Gooner would be a bit more accurate on the lottery front!

:D :D Cmon Retro, doesn't your heart feel we're the best too?

I do Midz, it’s why I spend my life frustrated when we don’t punch our weight. For my entire life I’ve longed to see us replicate a 1930s style dominance, but when it’s looked possible the club and/or manager have lacked ambition and made bad decisions. It’s why I’ve got the hard bitten, rather negative mindset.

Still, there’s no other club that I would have wanted to support. True football royalty. To be born an Englishman, a Londoner and a Gooner is to win the lottery of life.

That might get some pushback from one or two of our Irish brothers, even though deep down they know it’s true.

I think you'll find its: to be born a Dubliner and a Gooner is to win the lottery of life, though carrying around a massive schlong can be exhausting.

*and no, "massive schlong" is not a euphemism for "rodders"!

Born a Dubliner eh? I read James Joyce's "The Dubliners" many years ago and it doesn't paint a pretty picture. Mind you, I'm sure you'll blame British rule for that.

As for having a massive schlong, it's a gene thing, so do you have some English blood in you? :rubchin:

Why I never!

This is the thanks I and my countrymen get for years of impregnating your Ingerlish women? :(

Shameful.... just shameful.... :(

Well, if what you say about schlongs is true, then I must be Irish…..very, very Irish!!

Bejaysus will you look at the size of dat fecking thing!!

🚨🔴⚪️ Bad news for Arsenal as Mikel Merino is injured.

“He has a shoulder injury and it looks like he will be out for a few weeks”.

“He landed on the floor and Gabi landed on top of him, it's a fracture probably”, Arteta says via @NizaarKinsella.

Fucking joke. Gabriel useless lump.

Weeks read months. What a waste of time. Looms like Eddie staying and no forward. I'm done.

Sure we will likely do well for a while but the complete lack of strengthening will bite yet again and we will fall short. So predictable its boring.

Yes grateful we are better but what's the point if you don't go the whole hog.

Wouldn’t be surprised if during, or just after, the international break we confirm the injury wasn’t “as bad as first feared” and he’s in the squad for the Spurs game.
