So that was stupidly harder then it should have been, the starting 11 reeked of underestimating Southampton. Jesus, sterling, partey are empty shirts and any form of replacement would add to the team rather than take away from it.

Sad to say but legohead has gotten away with the last 2 league matches, the transfer business and squad depth is biting us already, and it’s the start of October

It’s good that we can talk about learnings and poor performances in the context of 6 points from the last week but lessons will have to be learned from these games.

The way we came out after HT against Leicester and again today was completely unacceptable. 3 goals we conceded in the first 15 mins of the second half in both games by being half asleep and sloppy as fuck on the ball.

Leicester scored 2 from their 3 shots on target and Southampton scored 1 from their 2 attempts on target. That shit needs to stop, that happened regularly when we were a fucking shambles and it needs to be stamped out quickly if we’re to have any hope this season.

Theses games that we completely dominate yet are scrapping it out down the home stretch have to be the exception not the fucking norm. We have to put teams to bed when dominating every aspect of the game and that’s something we’ve failed to do in the league this week.

Again it’s good to have this problem when still winning but continue with this shit for much longer and we’ll get caught badly somewhere chucking away points we have no business doing.
