Absolutely no need to be so stressful....everyone beats this lot 9-0 all the time so 3-1 is basically a defeat.....why can't we just dominate a game for full 90 mins....when was the last time we knew we were going to smash a team from minute 1 FFS
3-1 is basically a defeat?

Steady now.

He has to rotate to save the legs of players from time to time and if you're going to do it, Southampton at home is definitely the game to do it.

He knows it's going to be a bit shit when he does it, but.......Is what it is. A win's a win.

Not like City are strolling through the park either.

We've got a duck load of injuries, let's not forget that....Ode, Timber and White are all first choices, Tomi only just back, thankfully Zinchenko is nowhere to be seen...... Not great performances but champions win games when playing poorly or indifferent.
Well still be champions in May :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Odegaard is a huge loss in games like today when the bus is parked from minute one. That little bit of guile around the box to unlock teams is missing. Worried that the ankle injury is even more serious than we thought and that he’s a good bit off returning.

Spoke about it here the other week but that’s why Saka can never be subbed off. Equally as likely to pop up with an unbelievable assist as he is a brilliant goal. Today he produced both.

Un-droppable and un-subbable for me.

2 goals and 7 assists for him in our 7 legaue games so far and he hasn’t hit top gear yet. He’s an output monster.

Trossard made a huge difference when he came on. Running with the ball, making the runs to draw defenders and adding that directness that we were missing before half-time. Havertz took his goal well and that was the turning point as it meant we weren't going to have to get desperate and start chasing things. Once we were level, it was only going to be us winning it but of course, we still have to let them have a couple of chances every now and again.

I don’t buy the rotation excuse, even I without 30 years in football understand rotation is a requirement, my argument is based on the options available to perform the rotation.

Let’s face it partey is shite IN position, so rotating him due to a lack of options into an even worse position is suicide.

Jesus is done as a football player and yet is deemed worthy of being a starter all because we’ve to rotate.

Sterling, another rotation waste of space.

All legoheads rotations do is shine a light on the lack of decent options for every position.

No rotation policy should have Jesus as a starter, none. And as long as shit like the aforementioned 3 are at the club we’re going to struggle when they start.

That’s 6 home games in a row now that Havertz has scored.

Trossard’s involvement in that goal sums up our entire day. Never saw Martinelli in acres beside him and then fell over the ball.

Mother of fuck lessons need to be learned from this game and Leicester. Insane that both games went to the wire when we should have been out of sight and cruised home.

The problem is absolutely obvious. You can have total domination of both ball and territory, but if you lack quality strikers to stick the ball in the net, then you’ll never be out of sight and cruising.

I’ve been saying on here since the end of the transfer window that failing to add the striker that we all know we need, is going to cost us. We’ve managed to get away with it against two relegation candidates, but against a side that’s even moderately decent, we’ll be dropping points.

Arteta can have no excuses.
