I know I can be like a broken fucking record, but Jesus, Partey and Zinchenko should all have been gone in the summer and it doesn’t reflect well that we have to keep Jorginho in reserve because we lack quality options.

I had a mild spat with one or two on here when we signed Jesus. They told me his goalscoring record was good and he was a top signing. Let’s just say that I’d seen him play enough times for City to know that he wasn’t top quality, wasn’t a natural goal scorer and would never be prolific for us. Fuck me, he’s about as far from prolific as it’s possible to be. Still, Arteta told us that he saw something different in him before the season started. I assume he saw that the bloke is even more crap than we thought.
To be fair to Jesus he was actually OK in an effort/impact way when we signed him (not I goals scored I grant you) worked hard and created for others and drew defenders. We all lost our shit at the brazil coach whom played him injured and led him to being out for a while.

Now he's utter cack. Eddie levels of cack, fucking things up causing moves to breakdown ballism gup simple guilt edge chances for others.

He's compleltey lost any of his plus points. Needs to be flushed ASAP as I'm beginning to hate him like I did the feather.

We won in the end. Our attacking reserves are pitiful.

Nwaneri should be starting ahead of Jesus and sterling and there must be another attacker's the academy who can't be worse than Jesus...

I thought sterling could do a job. He looks unfit and off the pace.

Trossard’s involvement in that goal sums up our entire day. Never saw Martinelli in acres beside him and then fell over the ball.

Mother of fuck lessons need to be learned from this game and Leicester. Insane that both games went to the wire when we should have been out of sight and cruised home.

The problem is absolutely obvious. You can have total domination of both ball and territory, but if you lack quality strikers to stick the ball in the net, then you’ll never be out of sight and cruising.

I’ve been saying on here since the end of the transfer window that failing to add the striker that we all know we need, is going to cost us. We’ve managed to get away with it against two relegation candidates, but against a side that’s even moderately decent, we’ll be dropping points.

Arteta can have no excuses.
Current problems lie at the opposite end of the pitch actually. Can’t seem to keep a clean sheet and gifting too many chances against average opponents. Having to reshuffle backline due to injuries hasn’t helped but playing Partey at right back is criminal. We are the second highest scorers as it stands, just 2 fewer than City, and on course for another 90goal+ season. Goals win you games but defences win you titles and the backline currently looks a bit porous. Need to get back to basics

Temu Pep has said as much. Peak physical performance is something he is well aware of and it probably explains why he’s not given him many minutes.

Watched MOTD and even from the short clip they showed I could see Jesus & Sterling were fucking useless. Both are off the pace.

They didn't show the warm reception for Ramsdale which was what I wanted to see but at least he was given one so I'm glad for him.

Kai Havertz has pulled out of the Germany squad due to a knee issue. He will remain at Arsenal during the international break.

Hopefully that’s Dark Arts FC at play and nothing serious. Saka and Rice next please because no doubt the bald Everton water carrier c.unt will play both in every minute of the epic games against Narnia and Bikini Bottom

Absolutely no need to be so stressful....everyone beats this lot 9-0 all the time so 3-1 is basically a defeat.....why can't we just dominate a game for full 90 mins....when was the last time we knew we were going to smash a team from minute 1 FFS
3-1 is basically a defeat?

Steady now.

Lefty!!! How Dare You!!???

Rodders is never Sarcastic!! He can be Erudite even Poetic when of a mind to be. Yes he can be a tad Brusque on occasions, but that tends to only happen when he has been on the Amber Nectar (mate). And indeed he can also come across as seeming "Odd" to some, but in a Good Way: except of course when he is 'Hanging Out' with Spuddy and they are on one of their (cough, cough) week-ends in Amsterdam or in Bangkok....
  I was talking about Linighan

A game the Arsenal of old would have drawn most likely. The belief amongst supporters and players is there - go 0-1 down in the old Wenger days and the half empty stadium would go quiet apart from moans and groans, and the game would drop to a tip tap, walking pace. The way the team respond to setbacks these days is so much more positive. Yes Southampton are shite and masters of their own downfall but I've witnessed points dropped against teams every bit as bad as them in the past decade!

Pleased to see Martinelli returning to form!

Sterling - lets give the boy some time! Remember people writing off Havertz after the Chavs had done their best to wreck his career, so lets see what happens

Jesus, I'm afraid the evidence is there for all to see. When he or Eddie (or both) started last season against West Ham and Fulham, we blew it. As soon as Havertz went alone up top, the whole unbeaten run kicked in and the goals started flowing. As soon as he and Sterling went off and Martinelli and Leo came on, the whole attacking belief was transformed. Jesus will cost us points if he starts games against better opponents

Well done to all the fans for their response to Ramsdale too - nice touch!

Now for the international break - yay! Said no-one ever

Beautiful, Just Beautiful, and something we've not done near enough on in the past. You rest that knee Kai......rest it well!!!

Hopefully all other squad members follow suit..........I struggle to imagine why any player would be up for the pointlessness of the interlull when theyre in the hunt for a league medal!

I genuinely believe that many more players Would exclude themselves from selection if they could, but there is a Hidden Internal form of Blackmail where their National Team Coach / Manager let's them know that if they pull-out of any selection then their chances of playing in future Competitions (Proper one's that is) could be reduced.

Also that baldWank Carsley wants to win as many games as possible because he is desperate to get the job Full-Time and so will Play the Best Players.

One thing IS guaranteed is that both Saka and Rice will play the full 90 minutes of both the Utterly Pointless games and so risk injury; if not in this games then later when the Fatigue kicks in.
