Are we as individuals permitted to submit a claim for having to watch the cheating c.unts?
Could have a go at launching a legal case against them for any match you've paid to attend or view involving them as they were taking money off you in dishonest circumstances and knowingly engaging in fraudulent or corrupt behaviour. Might as well have a go at legal action against The Premier League and broadcasters too.

If the Premier League knew about any of Cheaty's dishonest shenanigans and failed to act upon it or take action against them in accordance with their own rules, then all the other clubs could likely have a case against the PL as well.

I do wonder if the PL have realised this and are now wondering what to do.

Looks like a certain bald someone has been told by a certain arab-owned club's expensive lawyers not to worry, that any token "punishment" that club receive for cheating is not going to prevent him buying a couple more league titles. Just like most of us on here (that don't live in imaginary villages full of Arsenal players) knew all along.

The writing was on the wall when it was revealed MPs were back channeling progress reports of the hearing back to Dubai.

Cheaty bought their way into this situation, now they’ve bought their way out of it.

Abu Dhabi probably threatened to pull billions out of the uk economy if this went south and now the fudge is on.

NEW: Growing confidence among some clubs that Man City will fall short in bid to block vote on sponsorship rules.
Understand Wolves and Everton likely to back PL position (unlike a year ago)

2 years? Fuck it’s even worse than I thought. They’ll probably be awarded more points than docked any at this rate.

Fucking scum.

Breaking: Premier League clubs vote through associated party rule amendments - defeat for Manchester City.

Premier League statement: "At a Premier League Shareholders’ meeting today, clubs approved changes to the League’s Associated Party Transaction (APT) rules.

"The amendments to the rules address the findings of an Arbitration Tribunal following a legal challenge by Manchester City to the APT system earlier this year.

"The purpose of the APT rules is to ensure clubs are not able to benefit from commercial deals or reductions in costs that are not at Fair Market Value (FMV) by virtue of relationships with Associated Parties. These rules were introduced to provide a robust mechanism to safeguard the financial stability, integrity and competitive balance of the League."

Four clubs tried to veto vote - City, Newcastle, Forest and Villa, say sources

Something feels off to me too. The timing just feels too convenient. I do love a good conspiracy so here goes:

Context: City stroll through their opening half dozen fixtures, looking huge favourites for a 7th title in 8 years.

PL: “Given the scale of your lawbreaking and the general feeling against the club, I’m afraid a slap on the wrist fine and symbolic points deduction won’t cut it - we’re going to have to contemplate relegation. But there is an alternative. If Man City were to somehow
“lose form” for the next dozen or so fixtures, falling short in its pursuit of yet another title, then a more symbolic form of punishment would be a far easier sell to the general public.”

Read a blog where the writer argued that City know they are going to be found guilty. Hence they have sold a load of assets recently like Alvarez and have a load of cash in the bank. This will be needed to get them through a load of barren years outside of the Premier League. Pep signing a new contract is to allow City to demand compensation when they get relegated and someone comes in for him.

Sounds like another conspiracy theory to me! I reckon they’ll get off Scot free!

Absolutely comical listening to sky pundits yesterday and this morning talking about the difference in that city team when they dont have a rodri or fernandinho in there - they waxing lyrical about how rodri and fernandinho would have stopped some of those goals yesterday by conceding free kicks that might result in yellow card or might not, BUT they talking about it as if it is a skill in itself  If that was Arsenal or some other team the media would be using phrases like "dark arts" or "cynical fouling" and condemning the club and players involved, but yet when it is the oil state different rules seem to apply and they were almost emotional that city are no longer doing that

I dont buy that Steve O - city are not the team they were and it shows. They dont have a david silva anymore, they dont have a leader like kompany anymore. Walker is in decline and their left back position has been a revolving door for past two seasons. I will always argue that de bruyne was a big game bottler for them, but the reality is that against the decent and shit teams in premier league he was often outstanding, but he is injured a lot these days and when he plays is a pale imitation of himself. Pep (the real pep not the fake one we have  ) is starting to fall out with players in the last year or so, and there is no doubt that the pressure of these 115 charges and the fact that every non city fan now looks on them as cheats and no longer respect them, and that is probably weighing heavy on everyone in the club
