Have to say i think its a hoax, Arsenal never let transfers out of the bag before the player has signed. We didnt know about daSilva until he had signed. Lets remember The Sun told us last week we were signing Martins now its Palacio......

When I first heard this story I was in two minds whether it was true or not. Having thought about it I think its probably bollox. Can you see le Boss paying that much for an unproven (at top level) player. It just doesn't seem his style of business practice. Anyway I read that the Boca Juniors head honcho claims to know nothing about any of these stories being true http://gunnerblog.com/?p=688 But I suppose we'll all know soon enough.
