10 minutes of injury time at Anfield, gave them every chance at least but they still dropped points.

City will win the legaue again mark my words. Liverpool are fuck all good either. City will sign in January and romp home with 15 wins.
I think the Chavs are looking more likely at the moment.

Disgraceful game today. If we can't beat Everton, can't beat Fulham then we can't be considered challengers.

What a shame, really wanted it to work for arteta but unfortunately he's soon to be sacked.... and hopefully this time they can get a coach who has got some experience
Unfortunately he won’t be sacked though will he?

The way I see it now it is like this - for an increasing number of match going fans every match is a 1 off game, there are so many matches that context has gone out of the window.
Draw today - no problem, there will be another meaningless European match along soon to dig the fraud out of a hole.

And Arteta is a fraud - no doubt about it now. Spending loads of money has made us compete yes, but anyone could do that.
He has won NOTHING in each of the full seasons that he has been manager and that doesn’t look like changing anytime soon.

Right - it’s Saturday night. I’m off to get hammered!!
Gould bless ya guvnor

Same two words: Victor and Osimhen. Whether it was Edu or Arteta who didn't go in for him in August, it was professional negligence. One of them at least had the decency to fuck off, the other is now a symptom of the same atrophy that left Wenger in place nearly a decade after he should have been moved on.
We could bring in Messi at his best in January and I’m not convinced we would win the league.
Arteta I’m afraid is just not the manager required.

It’s been common knowledge for well over a year now but today proved once and for all that Martinelli is finished. Another absolutely abysmal performance and the drop in threat from our right to our left hand side is frightening.

Up against a geriatric full back he took the cowardly option every time by playing it back and any time he did try to take him on it was the same old shit of running with his head down, no fucking idea of who or what is around him.

He’s done, bin the c.unt off in January if there’s any club dumb enough to want him.

Mate, even if he was baring down on goal like the 4th away at villa couple of seasons ago when keeper was up for corner....I think there still a fair chance he would miss at the moment

Agree with that. I’d have zero faith for him to score in any situation. Hard to believe how badly he’s cliff edged.

Literally everything we did today (and for last couple of weeks) was wrong...wrong pass, wrong shot, wrong first touch....here's a revolutionary idea how about the striker stay central and IN THE BOX, and while we're at it stop taking 5 mins to take a fucking throw in

Desperate stuff.

Still a long long way to go. We will strengthen in January.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I’d love to believe it, but history ain’t on our side of Arsenal as a club doing what needs to be done
I think we will.
I sincerely hope you are right mate.

Okay, so he knew we had a thin squad and had to keep the likes of zinchenko & jesus .... but he seems to be resistant to buying the very player (a Striker) we so desperately need. We have a Good Team and Can play Excellent Football.... But we 'Lack' that striker / player who can put away the slightest chance. And we do create loads of chances.

Also Martinelli and Havertz have Gone Off Of The Boil....it's only when Trossard is on the left flank that anything remotely possible looks like it might happen... All out eggs are in the Saka/left flank basket... teams have sussed this and so overload on him; doubling or trebling up on him....

If Arteta doesn't get in a striker in January; which let's be honest is the least favourable transfer window for making Big Buys... Then our chances of Winning the prem will become even less feasible.

I know Rodders thinks Cheaty will come back and win it (maybe? though I doubt it for this season...sorry Rodders) but I look at the Chavs and they are blowing teams away, so either them or the victims*. Unless a Miracle Happens and we do sign a top name striker.

And as some have said, it is very reminiscent of TOF and his stubborn attitude to see reason and do the obvious.

Just 10 touches of the ball for Nwaneri in the 30 minutes he was out there. Christ.

Odegaard was poor today but for every 3 shit passes he did the 4th was a dangerous one that got us in behind which although a shit ratio still made him one of our better players. It was a mistake to take him off.

I figure odegaard is quick to pick and make a pass, but if the passage of play before it gets to him is dog slow, then he’s marked up and out of the game before he’s a chance to make an impact. If Legohead wants to make the most of him the rest of the teams passing needs to be as quick as his is. The pedestrian old lady passing speed is one of our greatest weaknesses!!

Odeargod is the very definition of pedestrian old lady passing and I have been saying that for ages now - even my eldest son who is a huge odeargod fan was going mental at how many touches he was taking before releasing the ball forward. I'm not sure if it is from a stats based obsession or maybe the brain is slow to read the game, but he will tap the ball 4 or 5 times in front of him before he will release it even for a 5 yard pass - I dont deny that part of his problem is that sometimes he tries too hard to make every ball a killer ball, but I compare it to smith-rowe who gets the ball on the half turn and feeds it to the wingers straight away, thus increasing the chances of our wingers having a 1 v 1

Talking of wingers, is it too old school to maybe try swapping saka and martinelli/trossard for 20 mins mid game to actually having a left winger on the left wing and a right footed winger on the right wing ?? Our game plan is so fcuking narrow and even stevie wonder can see that saka has to cut back inside almost every time, so they basically double him up there and force him wide - I could game plan against our wingers without having put on cones for pep for two seasons ffs
